Letter From the Co-founders
Today we are humbled, grateful, fulfilled, and excited not simply because of what’s to come but because of what has been. We reflect on what we’ve built through the years and stand in awe of this present moment. As an organization we have reached one of our most significant milestones to date, Year Ten! This isn’t just a number, a decade or even just another year, it is an ode to our future, the promise of good citizenship, our raison d’être of nation building and yet the beginning of greater possibilities.
Year ten (10) reminds us that vision and impact go hand in hand; that it truly takes teamwork, to make the dream work . It reminds us that we have a collective responsibility to build the future we wish to see, and that it is not somewhere out there beyond our reach. It starts right here, right now because the world of tomorrow is being built today. We remind ourselves that our duty to future generations is not only to prepare them to change the world tomorrow, but that we change today, so that changing tomorrow is that much easier. What we do today matters and what we have done up until now has built an engine of impact that has forever changed the trajectory of careers for hundreds of Bahamian students across our archipelago.

This is the year for greater, this is the year for more. Our directives for year ten are centered around expansion, exposure, and excellence. We believe that this is the year we expand our programs in both quality and quantity throughout 2023. While Year 10 culminates a decade of our existence, it also commences a renewed commitment to greater exposure to STEM for our students. Exposure is the difference between having an opportunity and knowing that one even exists. Too often ignorance (on the part of our students) and apathy (on our part as a citizenry) have been the primary causes of students not being given the opportunity to succeed at greater levels by having access to better choices. We vow to do our part in bridging the exposure gap. Nothing we have done has been done without excellence and today that value remains.
We invite you to join us in honoring the work we have done within the last decade and investing in the legacy we are building for the future. We sit at the helm of what was and what will be. Today we decide how we move forward as we build upon our past successes and make improvements to widen the scope of impact. This is our year; this is our time. Change begins with us, it always has. We began in 2014 with a small group of young Bahamian engineers inspired by our shared passions and ignited by our shared experiences. Here we are almost ten years later still inspired, still ignited, innovating the future of Education.
We Matter.
Our Work Matters.
Our Students Matter.
