In less than two years, 19 businesses have decided to reside in Berlin, according to town officials. Some of these businesses relocated to the center of the state, others grew their businesses from the ground up, and a few returned to town. By contrast, during last month’s budget hearing residents continually spoke out about how they viewed Berlin as unfriendly to businesses.
