The unseasonably warm weather prompted golf season to start early in central Connecticut. Timberlin Golf Club in Berlin was one of several that opened Tuesday morning, March 8. “It’s great for the town that we got to open early,” said Marc Bayram, Timberlin head golf professional, who hit a ceremonial tee shot to start the season at the municipal course. “Everyone is excited.” The Tradition Golf Club in Wallingford also opened last Tuesday.
