INTRODUCTION

Dear Believers in Christ, I am happy to introduce my book “The Wise Virgin”. This book was born by the constant motivation and the seed thoughts provided by Lord Jesus Christ. As, I don’t have any prior experience for writing and not a preacher by profession, Lord has motivated consistently by providing thoughts, case studies and examples.

It is easy to accept Christ, because the God-led life is filled with peace and fun.

But when our life, is surrounded by turmoil and perils of devil, our heart will seek to run out of the troubling situation. But on the other side, Lord’s humble invitation motivates us to sustain the relationship. As our best forerunner (Lord Jesus) we will follow His example: Fix his eyes on the joy that was set before Him and despised the shame and sat on the right side of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2).

This book is a medicine to mend the relationship with Lord Jesus and to reignite the anointing of Holy spirit. It deals with the topics of: Who is Holy Spirit? How to Sustain our relationship with the Holy Spirit? Personalities who sustain the Holy Spirit in their earthly life time and then to the eternal life, Rapture and its types.

I have learnt lot while I am writing this book, with the help of our heavenly tutor. Many hidden truths of the bible are revealed to me by Spirit, which I have read before several times without understanding it. My wish and my prayer, is this book has to create an impact and result in the life of those who read it. If you read it, kindly forward it to your dear and nears. Wish you all the best, to fetch your Heavenly citizenship.

CHAPTER-1 THE WILL OF GOD

God has created a mankind for executing a specific task of His heart. The intent of God’s heart is named as the will of God in Bible. Jesus mentioned in gospel book (Mathew 7.21) that fulfilling the will of God is the only way to enter heaven. Jesus kept the highest priority of His life as to fulfill the God’s will even to the end of His life. (Luke 22.42) God has a specific blueprint (Fig.1) for each man, to fulfill His will. Sone of the common process followed by God is captured as a flow Chart.

1. HOW TO FULFILL GOD’S WILL:

God’s will cannot be practiced in daily life unless each individual is filled with Holy spirit. As the bible mentioned that flesh lusts against the spirit and spirit against the flesh (Galatians 5:17).

When we obey flesh, it leads to the devil’s will and its reward is death (Romans 8:6) whereas if we obey and honor the God (Holy spirit), it leads to the eternal life and peace.

(a) Jonah’s Life:

Jonah, a man of God has a will designed by God himself. But his fleshy will (Jealousy and unclear on God’s will) makes him to disobey on God’s will.

“Jealousy attitude’ kindles Jonah to push the God’s will as second priority. God’s will for Jonah is to share the God’s extended mercy to people in Nineveh before God, signs the judgement agreement. Jonah’s prejudice on Nineveh people is wild and they won’t

accept this philosophy. Moreover, his native law books (of Moses) won’t permit a Jewish man to sit equally with gentiles for either lunch or any conversation (Acts 10:28). So, this law doubts Jonah to suspect God’s will, whether he really was directed by God or his own self will.

So, Jonah, preferred his self-will as a right call to visit (Fig.2) Tarshish (Now it is renamed as British), known as business capital for middle-east countries, in those days. He took a ticket to Tarshish (though he was not a business person or he is inclined to do it), in hope of visiting Fig.3: Jonah’s Peaceful Journey

the islands of Tarshish. Trip started nicely

with a gentle breeze (Fig.3) of sea, standing on the top deck of his trade ship.

The first day of journey completed, with luxury meals of ship. Ship was filled with business people around world, sharing their experiences with Jonah. He took a berth on the lower deck, as it is warm with no windows and passengers will not 7

get any shocks of the sea, while sleeping. Suddenly, on the midnight his room door was knocked and one of the sailors addressed his roommate to wear a life jacket for escaping from the wild tidal wave. The captain sends the warning message to all the passengers of the boarding rooms, that ship will be expected to sink (Fig.4) within an hour, if the tidal wave persists. But Jonah his in half sleep wants to continue it and ignoring the sailors warning. The killer wave rocks the trade ship on four sides as this Mediterranean Sea is known for euroclydon cyclone. After counting the number of passengers on the top deck, in the midnight, one of the sailors shouted amidst the roaring cyclone to the captain (Fig.5). Sailor says that, “One is missing among the 500 passengers”. Then captain sends one more sailor to find the missing person. He located the missing person (Jonah) on the lower deck, with a snoring

sound. He (Sailor) shook him, to get up from the bed. Jonah, dressed himself with a seamless tunic along with head turban and reached the top deck. Captain (in fear) shouted at him that, “How you got the deep sleep, amidst the terrific situation?”.

Then Jonah, observed the situation of top deck within the flickering lights (dancing with its yellow skirts). So far, Jonah considered sea waves as a tool for relaxation.

Whenever he is having problems in his personal life, he loves to spent his time in a Telaviv harbor near to Jerusalem. But the calm sea, became a terrific monster for the ship on that night. He also found that Sailors and merchants started praying God in their own language. Then, Jonah told to the captain in a calm and confident voice, that “His God (Jehovah) is the creator of the heaven, earth and Sea”. Moreover, he told that “He disobeyed God’s word and running out of his presence. That kindles His anger on me”. Captain in his fear, expressed his awe in Hebrew (though he is a native of Cyprus island). Then Jonah continued, “This wild wave can be suppressed if you do, what I am saying now”. Captain asked him, “What I have to do?” Jonah said, “Pack me in a woolen cloth and throw me into the sea.”. What? Says the 8

captain. Jonah said in a confident voice, “I want to surrender my wish to the God’s word.”. Captain nodded with a half-heart saying that “we will see”. Then captain ordered his sailors to throw the anchors on four sides to stop the shaking of ships.

But sailors responded, we already did that. But ropes are teared off. Captain lost his hope, want to save the life of these rich merchants on the board called his sailors for a brief meeting. They discussed with noisy arguments, and finally the meeting ended in a silence. They all agreed to the captain’s order. A sailor came to the Jonah and gave a grape juice and bread spoke kindly to him. He spoke in a pleasant voice, that whether he is having any wish to inform his family. He said instantly, convey them that “Now I surrender to the God’s will”. Then they gave a woolen blanket with a tar coating on outside. He wrapped within it and they tied with a coconut made straps. Everyone prayed to God in their languages and they dropped him into the sea. A whale

swallowed him (Fig.6). After a few minutes, the violent wind became a gentle wind, to drive the sea in the direction of Tarshish.”

2. WHO IS HOLY SPIRIT? * Holy Spirit is the third personality of God who dwells with God in heaven.

He is also the first person of God to survey the world, when it is disorder (Genesis 1:2). He gives the report of the world and its inhabitants to the God. * In the beginning (Fig.7), God kept the Holy spirit within every human being right from the birth [Genesis 1:26]. Holy spirit helps to convict and redirect a person in right path (Fig.8); if he/she is deviated. * But due to the disobedience of mankind lost the God’s gift. Due to the consistent sinning behavior and overriding of Holy spirt warnings, God (Heavenly father) grieved in his heart and removed the holy spirit from Him. [Genesis 6:2} 9

* God took His initiative to re-induct Holy spirit into humans. For this process, God (Jesus) needs to break through the sinful behavior. To break this behavior, mankind needs a role model and a sacrifice (atonement) for the sins. Both are effectively performed by Jesus. * The breakthrough of sinful behavior is called as salvation and it is also a prelude for Holy spirit anointment. Jesus did the cleansing of sin and went to His father for outpouring of Holy spirit [John 16:7]. On the day of Pentecost, Lord outpoured on the first phase to His disciples.

During the process of (Fig.9) salvation (Confession and baptism of sins), the God gifted each individual with Holy spirit and it is considered as the guarantee of redemption. Ephesians 1:13- In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also having believed you were sealed with the Holy spirit of promise; who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

Holy Spirit Anointing

When Holy spirit anointing descended to man, it will be exhibited in His life, in the form of Christ’s behavior and it is named as Fruit of Holy spirit (Fig.10).

This fruit has nine taste and it is mentioned as: Love, Joy, Peace, Long Suffering, Kindness, Godliness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control.

In the following table, fruits of Holy spirit are mapped with the attributes of person [2 Peter 1:5] who experienced the salvation. It is plotted in the table-1. For example: Faithful Virtue needs the fruit of Love, Joy & Faithfulness. For each attribute to have productive spiritual life, two or three fruit have to work together.

For effective working of God’s fruit (Fig.11), a person needs a good relation with three primary parameters namely: Relation with God followed by relation with Others and then with self. Relation with God will refresh every person when he/she is in weariness either spiritual or physical means. It can be rectified by God alone. The second factor is to have a good relation with others will provide a good social experience. It will provide skill sets such as: How to lead a team, How to have a family/friends, How to solve a problem and on. Relation with self will helps an individual to rectify: self-pity, jealousy, proudness and on.

CHAPTER-2 ENHANCHING SPRITUAL PRODUCTIVITY 2.1 To be Productive in the sight of GOD Walking with God is a pleasant experience. A creator who knows all things, walks with His own creation, is an exploring life for individual. These relationships too have several seasons, as like 4-climatic reasons in earth. Sometimes, it seems to be pleasant sunny day (Summer day), with storms (winter seasons) and it could be a downtime (discouraging situations) followed by budding of new hopes. To be consistent and productive we need following attributes of God. a) FAITHFUL VIRTUE:  To fulfill God’s command in the perfect way/ without deviating it.

George -muller from Germany, rebellious son of his respectful father was joined in a boarding school after several drop-outs. There he was trained by a teacher on how to rely on God’s word faithfully and on belief. This brief interaction on every evening have provided a life changing attitude. Thereafter he applied for visa in Britain through English missionary society. He learnt English during his waiting period and he got visa after 6-months. After he reached Britain, he joined with a senior missionary for helping poor street kids. During the first phase of mission life, God provided a mission to start a orphanage home for street kids in London.

But he made an agreement with God, that he won’t ask any donation for operation expenses. His faithful agreement was honored by God. For everyday provision, he will ask God in his private chamber named “Treasure House of God”. God will supply it supernaturally.

One day for a breakfast, orphanage students set in the dining table. They 13

started their morning prayer before God. George muller ran to his private chamber and prayed to God. God responded his prayer in an unexpected way. Muller thought the response to prayer will be from donations or through money orders. But this time, he heard a knocking sound from a truck driver stating that, “His Lorry (Fig.12) carrying milk to got punctured on the way and the tyre can’t be removed without unloading the milk. So, driver wants to offer the milk for orphanage.  These faithful responses of God became a daily chore for George muller.

Muller had a habit of writing his prayer petitions in a diary and to find how many are fulfilled? in the frequency of once in every week. Based on the table (Table-1), faithful virtue provides Love, Joy & faithful with God. Moreover, virtue is defined as high moral standard (or) discipline. Therefore, faithful virtue is the process of exhibiting faith on God even in His absence (or) at the hard times. b. VIRTUE OF KNOWLEDGE Knowledge is the process of gaining information

(about a

person/place/things). The prioritization and choosing the right knowledge is vital for a believer to have sustained relation with God. In the beginning, God created a man within a garden with a limited and chosen knowledge. God’s provided knowledge helps Adam to nurture the garden, naming the animals (won’t bother about his dress & nature), Free will to speak with God as a son. Moreover, the God’s given knowledge, helped him to access God without fear but at higher obedience level (not to gather fruit of tree of knowledge-Genesis 2:17).

But through eve, Adam (Fig.13) tasted forbidden fruit. As a result, tree of knowledge produces disobedience, fear to access God, selfish attitudes (as no animals have dressed themselves). Curse of God, 14

murder, birth pain and loosing of God’s allotted blessing (Promise Land). These evil attributes are not taught by any tutors. But it is a ready package of devil attributes kept into the forbidden fruit. But God left the choices (Fig.14) to the Adam and Eve. God wants to know the choices of Adam. If Adam succeeded in the first challenge, he would have gained the eternal life for his children. But due to his fall, Jesus reworked on the history and gained the eternal life f or mankind.

c. SELF-CONTROLLED PERSEVERANCE: Perseverance is defined as the “process of continuing steadily in a course of action or purpose in spite of difficulties”, according to the Macmillan school of dictionary. Self-control is the act of taming one’s emotions. According to the Mathew 5:11,12, “Blessed are you, when they revile and persecute you and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for my sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for Great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”. When Jesus was criticized for His good works by pharisees and labelled His works as works of Beelzebub [Mathew 12.24]. But Jesus responded politely about His works with references without getting offended.

Moreover, after 40 days of seamless fasting Jesus was walking back to His home in Galilee. He was facing with hungry and loss of energy. He was pushing himself hard, for every forward’s step in the wilderness. His fleshy nature, would have craves for food, for His body. During these times, devil came to test His 15

perseverance. Perseverance on what quality? The quality of using the God’s gift for serving others but not for His hungry. Because devil knows, few days from now, Jesus was going to do be used supernaturally by heavenly father for ministering others [Multiplying 5-bread & 2-fish for 5000 families]. To retard the future supernatural plan, devil tempts Jesus to utilize His gifts (Holy Spirit) for serving His hunger (Mathew 4:3,4). But Jesus implies denied it. The Lord Jesus was very focused on self-controlled perseverance.

d. TO PERSEVERED GODLINESS: Godliness is defined as the process of obeying God’s laws and faithful to God; according to the Macmillan dictionary. As Paul advises to his disciple Timothy, he specified, “Godliness with contentment is great gain”-I Timothy 6:6.

In the previous verses, he mentioned few non-contentment attributes namely: Disputes, arguments & wrangling which produces: envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions (I Timothy 6:2).

mentioned in the same chapter are: able to adapt to situations without any demands of an individual (physical need/ spiritual need) and it is considered as Godliness.

Job a righteous person before God, lost his property, sons and daughters, Honor, health in a day. But Job (Fig.15) didn’t

spoke ill of God. Though his situation demands lot of comfort for him. His friends, and his wife criticized him. But Job’s response is: The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord. Job:1:21.

But Job confessed, For I know that my redeemer lives and He shall stand at last on the earth…That in my flesh I shall see God. Based on his persevered godly 16

confession, helped him to hear and listen to redeemer at the end of his tribulation period. As the Hebrew author said, “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the Joy that was set faith before Him endured the cross, despising the shame and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”.

Another example from the holy scripture is Joseph. Joseph, a handsome teen age boy (in his 17) worked in Potiphar’s house. He is all alone in Egypt. Joseph (Fig.16) didn’t have written scriptures in his hand. Mrs. Potiphar, seducing Joseph by a week-long, month-long activities through a secret smile, gestures, glamorous styles and on. But Joseph, persist in godliness. One day, situations became conducive. Joseph entered the Mr. Potiphar house as usual. Parallelly, Mrs. Potiphar sent her servants

away, waiting to honey trap the Joseph. Joseph sensed the situation and told “How then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God”. He disregards his honor Godly Empathy but prioritize God’s will as primary in his life. He left his dress, legacy but he was great in the sight of God. These quoted examples (Job, Jesus & Joseph) testimonies of persevered Godliness.

e. GODLY KINDNESS: Human Kindness (Fig.17a) is expressed as an sympathy by an individual towards others who are in need. But Godly kindness is expressed to an individual who is underserved (or) unqualified individuals.

Humanly Kindness Godly Kindness (Fig.17b) produces ripple effect in the recipient’s life and into the society whereas humanly kindness is a end-effect reaction focused on an individual. It was witnessed in many situations in the life of our savior Jesus & New testament saints. (i)

silence. Amidst the blanket of darkness, Lord Jesus witnessed the sparkling of light moving towards Gethsamane garden. As the minute hand of clock moves, the denseness of light grows with the rumbling sounds of boot shoes. Through the wept eyes of Him, he pondered the high priest officers walking with majestic rhythm towers Him. Then Jesus shook His favorite disciples: Peter & John to stop snoring.

With the half-opened blood red eyes, Peter understood that soldiers are there to take Jesus for the enquiry. Peter got sudden burst of anger after Judas deceitful kiss. He opened his blade from the cover and sliced the ear of High priest’s servant who bleeds through his sweat pores, ignoring His physical ailments but 18

concerned on the hot blood drops of Malchus on His cold hands. Immediately He started His healing action for Malchus.

Godly kindness is quoted by Lord Jesus in a verse [Mathew 5: 44,45].

Bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you…For He makes His sunrise on the evil and on the good and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. (ii)

In Golgotha: Lord Jesus with sleepless eyes arrested on the midnight of the day prior to sabbath, endured enquiries in three courts (high priests’ bungalow, Pilate’s Court and in Herod’s Palace). With the Zealot priest’s perseverance, the Pilate sentenced Jesus for crucifixion. His journey to crucifixion started on 9’O clock in morning through the broken

roads of Jerusalem (Fig.19) after the soldier’s harassment and the torn-open backs by who’s heart pumps the blood only to oozing it through the broken veins of the Lord Jesus. The beautiful seamless white tunic was decorated with red stripes, without ant weaving hands. Through the breathless trekking along with a luggage of 30 Kg cross on His broken shoulder, He reached the top of Golgotha at 0930 am.

Soldiers stripped Him and stretched the knees and wrists to the four ends of cross and fixed it with a 5-inch rivets. Rivets pierced the beautiful arms which created heaven and earth. Then the cross is erected for the visiblity of crucifixion of the passers-by. During His agony, Lord Jesus is not focused o torn shoulders or His shame before the crying ladies or the laughing sounds of priests, but He advocated with father on forgiveness of the cruel crowd who didn’t even pray 19

for their mercy. On Mt.Golgotha, Lord Jesus manifested godly kindness to the people surrounds Him, Father forgive them, for they do not know what they doLuke 23.34. (iii)

Paul with Jail Warden: Paul and his companion Silas in

an Asian city (Lydia) preaching Jesus life. A girl in this town, known for her fortune telling gift, trumpeting to the people about God’s servant continuously. It continued for week long.

thought she is marketing them. But later they sensed her as disturber. It increases God’s anger within Paul. Paul rebuked the divine spirit of the girl and to go out of her flesh. Immediately the spirit ran away but these spirits went and seek the dry places for its dwelling. Its attempt failed. It seeks the help of seven more spirits to attack the person who rebuked them. It led to the mass complaints against Paul and Silas.

Judges of these Asian city (Lydia) ordered to punish them with beatings and to house them in dark rooms (Fig. 20,21) of Lydia.

backs and the mosquitoes jab on their back, these evangelical companions filled the dark room with God’s melody. As they started worshipping God, God executed marvelous miracles. These city experienced earthquakes. During these tremors, Paul and Silas dark room doors were opened. All prisoners are freed along with Paul and Silas without any mercy petitions. Jail warden rushed to the dark room to understand 20

the condition of prisoners. He could not find anyone as doors are opened. The fear grips his heart, as his life has to be given for the lost prisoners. He removed His blade from envelope, to slit his throat. But a majestic voice, dissipates darkness and says Don’t harm yourself [Acts 16:28]. It rises the confidence level of the jail warden. He asked him, “What must I have to do, to be saved?”. It’s a post reaction of Goldy kindness [Acts 16:31] displayed in Paul’s life. (f) LOVING BROTHERLY KINDNESS: In the last topic, we focused on Godly kindness where a righteous person manifested His love to an undeserved person. What way the last topic named “Loving Brotherly Kindness” differs from the previous one.

Brotherly Kindness (Fig.22) is the link established between two bornagain brothers or sisters irrespective of any discretion on religion, race, birthplace (Jewish/ Gentiles) and on. This quality is more important to sustain friendly relationship with God. Brotherly Kindness

Brotherly kindness operates only on love. It will accept others differences such as food, culture, speaking habits and on. Apostle peter was a senior believer than Paul. He was anointed and used by God mightily. He is the first bishop of New testament churches. One day, Paul & Barnabas came to Antioch after a series of evangelical meetings in Asia and Europe. They met apostle

But when friends of apostle James arrived to dining area where Peter ate, he isolates himself from the gentiles where common lunch is served. But Mr. Paul (Fig.24) rebuked them sharply on the attitudes of peter and Barnabas before others. He insisted that God’s scale will not measure the spiritual growth based on the genealogy but on the faith and steadfastness. {Galatians 2:11-21}.

In another incident, apostles have arranged common mid-day meal for all believers in Christ. Among them, all Jewish believers are stayed together (but from different countries). Some are Jerusalem born Jewish people and others are from Arabic countries. In that, a group

named Hellenist (non-native speakers of Hebrew) are also sharing lunch with them. They have differences with the host (Hebrews) on the reception protocols especially on treating the behaviors of widows.

It led to the stoppage of [Acts: 6:1-3] holy spirit miracles among the apostle groups. Thereafter, it gave room for persecution. Brotherly kindness is the pivotal point for Holy spirit communion and manifestation.

CHAPTER-3 LESSON-(1) LEARNT FROM FOREFATHERS The journey with the Holy spirit would be awesome for every individual but to retail His friendship is the primary focus of this chapter. In this chapter, we will learn the Jewish forefathers who started their journey fabulously. But the flaws, they committed will be a eye-opener for us to follow in our lives.

(1) Eyes of the righteous: Our Lord Jesus mentioned during His mount sermon that Eye is the lamp of the body, if therefore you eye is good, your whole body will be full of light [Mathew 5:22]. We have two eyes; one is a natural eye and the other one is the spiritual eye (Eye of the Heart). Lord Jesus, specifies the eyes of the heart in the Mathew (Chapter-5). The functions of the eyes of the heart (Fig.25) are to imagine, meditate,

manifestations. God’s judgement is based on the eyes of heart and not on the natural eyes. a. If any man looks at a woman to lust for her…committed adultery in his heart- Mathew 5:28 b. Every intent (Vision) and thoughts of their heart was only evil continually -Genesis 6:5 The first reference [Mathew 5.28] says that God watches the intent of our heart behind every vision. He (Jesus) mentioned that, if anyone looks a girl with a lustful vision (in His mind) then Lord considers this activity as adultery.

CASE STUDIES: We will analyze case studies of two people who are separated ordained for God but due to the recklessness they lost their heavenly journey in the half-way. (i)

Samson’s Life Journey: Samson, a man of God, known by God from birth. His birth was foretold by angel (two times) to his parents. His life protocols are instructed to his parents. But he forgot the God’s instructions, while he tastes consistent success. He loved a girl (admired her in the eyes of heart-Judges 14.1), who was not known

by God. His love failure and his loneliness led to another unholy relationship with a philistine girl.

Now Samson was satisfied with his second loving partner. But Delilah’s steadfast seduction and Samson’s unrepentant heart led to the huge disaster for samson’s life. Samson’s unholy relationship, directs him to lost his Godly vision (he lost his strength to defend) and finally, he led him to be a (Fig.27) blind person.

But his good experience was tested by God on certain times. God permitted him to know His (David) choices (Fig. 28). King David opted for a small break from his regular tiresome job and he appointed his secretary for administering all his work for next ten days. The first day moved like a melting cake, without any challenge. Next three days too passedaway, without any trouble. But his spiritual health is on decline, as David forgets to spent his early morning hours with God. In the fifth day of his relaxing schedule, after a heavy lunch meal (Fruit juices with fatty meats of sheep, lamb and a calf) with his officers, David had a power nap in his water-cooled chamber, without knowing the wrath of sun outside. His nap extends from mid noon to 03 PM. His sleep got disturbed by a whistling sound of his

bakers, involved in preparing hot breads for the kings tea time. Apart from this, there was a prevailing silence due to extreme weather. The sand storm and high heat of the sun, made even a strong warrior to hid under a roof. After tasting few drops of grape juice, David went for a walked in a garden (Fig.29) where queen Abigail (widow of Nabal) placed a desert herbs to give shades to place. He and his body guard walked together, speaking on the happening of war zone. Suddenly, David’s blue eyes hurried to see the place, were sound came. A woman was taking a bath, in a house adjacent to the palace. But due to his bodyguard’s presence, he withdrew his eyes from her.

But his heart replayed it, with a speed of 1000 frames per second.

He ended up his conversation with the body guard and send him back. Then he

called his faithful servant Novah and he enquired about the woman (of adjacent house) origin. So, the Noah said, she is a wife of a soldier Uriah. But David commanded Novah, to call her. She came and David’s eyes lusted for her. David didn’t ask any permission from his palace prophet (Mr. Nathan) about his wrong dreams on her. He hurried to quench his thirst (Fig.30), but it was bad in the eyes of the Lord.

C HAPTER-4 LESSON-(2) LEARNT FROM FOREFATHERS

Tongue of the Righteous: Tongue of the righteous is more vital in the sight of God because God considers the recorded account of every word we spoke in our life-time while executing the final judgement. [Mathew 12.36]

(i) Why God considers the account of Man’s word:  God’s word is all powerful and holy. The word became flesh and dwells with mankind [John 1:1-3]  God’s word is a double-edged sword penetrating soul & spirit, joints and marrow; discerner of thoughts and intentions of heart [Hebrew 4.12]  Moreover, Lord Jesus said, “Good man speaks from the treasure of the heart”(Fig. 32), (i.e.,) The words we spoke are the reflection of heart. So, Lord measures the heart’s condition based on the words of our mouth.

[Mathew 12.36]. 

God expects righteous person (Fig.31) to

rethink and prefer the word usage. Bible records it in Proverbs 10.20, “The tongue of the righteous is choice silver”.

(ii) How to sustain happy relation with Holy spirit?

Holy Spirit is the third form of God, who accepted heavenly offer to dwell with mankind. If a man lives with her wife both of them have to lay down their personal desires, and to identify the wishes and dreams which can sustain their relationship forever.

In the same way, when God (Holy Spirit) wants to live with man, He did not readily offer Holy spirit randomly. But He tries to understand our limitations. He identifies the sin and pitfalls. After salvation, God started to repair our pitfalls and made us ready to be heavenly citizen.

undergo lot of pain and discomfort. But Holy spirit (Fig. 33) will dwell with us, teaches us, comfort us, and prune us.

Holy spirit knows the mind of God and gave small command to us, when we are not on the track. We have to keep our senses to absorb His small whisperings. But there are certain, if & but’s called as small foxes which can spoil the relationship with God (Holy spirit).

Snippets:  When Paul trains the new born believers of Ephesians (Ephesians 4:29,30). He addresses a critically issue, they face after they get anointed. (i.e.,) The old untamed tongue of a believer, have to be practiced for the new statutory sets of Holy spirit.

 In the verse (Ephesians 4:29), he said that “No corrupt word proceeds out of your mouth…. And do not grieve Holy spirit. If a corrupt word came from a mouth it is stored in the heart of his/her who is using it.” (Mathew 12.36)  Moreover, Psalmist wrote in a verse that, “If a man desires to have long life and good days…. he has to keep his tongue from evil and clips from

speaking deceit.” [Psalms 34:12,13]  He (David) specifies three things in the above verse: They are long life, good days tongue from evil. All there are linked together. A person who needs long life (Fig. 34) & good days with God {Holy Spirit} & man needs to tame His tongue. Moreover, if you want to sustain your happy relationship (Good days) with Holy spirit, born-again individual has to tame His tongue from evil, even in tough times.  Apostle James specifies that, “If anyone does not stumble in word,….able to bridle the whole body…Out of the mouth proceeds blessing & cursing”[James 3:2,9]. We have to know what are the corrupt words that can reduce the lengthy relationship with God. [Holy Spirit].

What are the Corrupt words which will Spoil the relation with Holy Spirit? (i) Defiling the Body: Tongue

Therefore, it has to be tamed repeatedly, to have a better course of life. Noah, a man of God after a long journey of 230 days from his home town in a ship which was designed by God itself. No, he along with his three sons [Shem, Japheth, Canaan]. He started planting fruit yielding trees and work, in a yielding season he squeezed the grapes & consumed it. It provided a deep sleep in the field. One of his son [Canaan], went in hurry & pondered his dad was slept deeply even without the knowledge of his stripped dress. This boy became a gossiper, went and informed to everyone. Later his other two sons came and dressed him. Once Noah’s came to his senses, he learnt about the incident and cursed Canaan.

“Cursed be Canaan, A servant of Servants; He shall be to his brethren [Genesis 9:25]”. Noah’s words activated in Canaan’s descendant’s life. When Jewish people returned back to Israel from Egypt, Moses warned that, “Remember the Lord & his commands…don’t follow the Canaan’s practices.

As they did [nations (Canaan)] before you…” [Exodus 8:18-20]. Canaan have more pagan practices, to spoil God’s children with women [Balaam’s advice]Number:2, making child to pass through fire, disobedience to God, sacrificing innocent blood, enquiring ancestor spirits and on. How Canaan’s descendants innovated these evil practices, even though Noah is righteous man of God. 31

Because, Noah’s wrathful words became a seed for defiling Canaan. So, words of righteous people have more potential impact on their recipients. (ii) Murmurings of People against God: People of God, are released from Egypt through outstretched arm of God & wonders. Moreover, Lord himself travels with them on the way from Egypt to Israel for forty long years through cloud. It manifests God’s gracefulness & affection towards His saved people. But the Israelites are not able to understand the protective cover of God. They cursed

Him for more than four times. They complained (Fig.36) about God in sea shore of red sea [Exodus 14:11], when the water is bitter to drink? [Exodus 15.24], When they don’t have sugar filled manna? [Exodus 17.3], When the water supply was not there in wilderness? And they can’t get the meat & juicy foods. But God patiently answered for their complaints with statutes on how to respond to God during every needs. [Exodus 19.5]. Bu the rebellious responses of Israelites have led them to the cursing of God. So, during hardships don’t allow your mouth to be transponder of all the hearts feeling.

But meditate on what God did for then in past years & believe God can do the same thing in existing situation. (iii) Cursing against God: In this chapter, the power of tongue (given by God) to us are deeply analyzed. It analyses the ways to bless our future and to be a channel to receive God’s blessing. But tongue can also be a tool in the hands of devil to invite troubles for us. Wise man Solomon through the wisdom of God, he reveals the impact of words on ourselves.

wife witnessed it and she came to conclusion that, “This Jewish God is not suitable for our family” as Job is the only believer in his family who leaves all his pagan practices.

His wife wants to go back to their ancestor’s practices. Then she told to Job, “Curse God and die- Job 2:9”. But Job responded that, “Shall we accept good from God and shall we not accept adversity-Job 2:10”. Heaven listens to his response God, angels and mid-air demons heard it. We all know the response of God to this adverse situation. Mouth is a unique instrument given to us, to receive blessing from God. We, the human beings are the only creature to speak with God through words whereas all creatures are tamed in their mouth-Job 3:7

CHAPTER-5 LESSON-(3) LEARNT FROM FOREFATHERS Heart of The Righteous Heart of the righteous is the key theme in the sight of the Lord. God know the way of the righteous (Psalms 1:6). How God knows the way?

Because He watches over the righteous. For man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart (Psalms 16.7). King David records the attributes the heart of the righteous

He who walks uprightly…and speaks the truth in His righteous, He who does not back bite with His tongue. But He honors those who fear the Lord…He who does not put out his money at usury. – (Psalms 15.2-5).

According to the previous verse, righteous and God watches the truth in heart. Lord Jesus said, “Guard your heart from all evil, For out of the heart proceeds evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies”- [Mathew 15.19]. Moreover, Lord Jesus mentioned that He who believes in me…. Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water [John 7.38]. Psalmist mentions as “My heart is overflowing with a good theme” [Psalms 45:1].

CASE STUDIES: (i) King Saul: Saul was a young man from the tribe of Benjamin, who is feeling so low in his sight. He was humble, though he is from rich family. But he was not pious and devoted follower of God. But God selected him, because of his humbleness. Moreover, Saul is not having sustained friendly relation with God. 34

He seeks God only during his troublesome times (or) to seek Him for godly counsel. This attribute fails Saul to achieve the God’s allocated perfect blessing.

He disobeyed God for four times.

Ist Test: When Saul completed his one year in his office. He was allotted toa task to fight against philistines. But this task is a conditional. God said to Him, through Prophet Samuel, that he has to continue his task only after providing offering to God thorough Samuel’s hands [Genesis 13]. But Saul observing the negative atmosphere rather than the face of God. There is no blacksmiths available for Israel. People with him are in perplexity and try to seek hiding places. During this situation, he didn’t seek God for intervention. But he took his own decision to proceed against the will of God. God tested his patience in this situation. But he failed.

IInd Test: God ignored his past mistake and graciously allotted one more assignment to establish Israel boundary in Amalek country. Even this assignment is conditional [Genesis 15:3].

But he disobeyed it for second time. He retained the good sheep/oxen but the rest he slaughtered it. It grieved the heart of God. WHY GOD’S HEART GRIEVED?  God sacrificed his dream for Israel, as God wants to be a King for the country Israel.  But People of Israel disagreed it and they want to depute one as their leader. God compromised with His dream and He himself selected man to lead Israel.

 With lot of expectations, Saul was ordained as the first king of Israel. But Lord’s heart frustrated due to the consistent disobedience. He expressed his sorrow to His friend Samuel “I greatly regret that I have set-up saul…” Genesis 15:11.

IIIrd Test:  The second disobedience of Saul led to the seeking of another deputy for saul. But God forgives the Israel people. So, God comforted himself again, and His eyes seek after a man from longer relationship.  He identified this man (David) through

(Fig.39). But God didn’t want to disturb the existing set-up. (i.e., the reign of saul). He permitted saul to continue in his office. May be, God in his deeper heart want to provide third opportunity for Saul.

 Saul faced yet another negative atmosphere with philistines. Philistines, selected a leader who is from a fallen angel family (ie., Giants). This time, fear gripped the heart of Saul.

Saul made his watchtower at the last of the soldier’s array. He is waiting to see “What will happen?”.  The little inexperienced David arrived the war zone and defeated the giant Goliath. Israel celebrated this victory except one person (i.e., Saul). Saul didn’t add feather in his crown. But he was so jealousy on David. He cursed him a God in his heart.  He got pocessed by an evil spirit (I Samuel 18.11), which led to third disobedience.

CHAPTER-6 PERSONALITIES THAT SUSTAINED HOLY SPIRIT Elishah Elisha, a man of God who possess unique qualities to carry the sustainable friendship with Holy spirit (Fig.40) till the end of His life. He started his life as a non-prophet and son of a rich dad. He is an older son of his rich daddy, known for his responsible work handling the labors working in his father’s field. He was yet to get married. In Israel, there is a custom that, bridegroom has to save his earnings to provide dowry for his marriage.

Elisha working hard for his happy life. His Work dedication & his passion with a humble heart attracted the eyes of heavenly father.

Elisha was appointed as the spiritual son to the mighty prophet Elijah.

Unanimously in heavenly assembly attested by God himself. Unlike David’s anointing call, for Elisha. The call came to his workplace for serving as a disciple to Elisha. Because Elijah is a renowned prophet among three nations: Judah, Israel & Syria. Nation renowned prophet (Elijah) went to invite Elisha personally to his workplace. Without any second thought, Elisha accepted this offer.

He left his hometown, parents, richness and went after the prophet Elijah. Then Elijah passed by Him

and threw his mantle on Him (I kings 19.19). (a) Humbleness: Elishah, is a handsome rich son of his dad, denied his luxury and followed he poor prophet for the rest of his life. He started his prophetic career, not by preaching. But by washing the hands of the prophet Elijah. As king Jehoshaphat asked him, any prophet is there in Israel. One of his servants answered, “Elishah 37

the son of shaphat is here, who poured water on the hands of elijah”-II kings 3:11. “Humbleness” is the first step of his career. (b) Passion: Elishah’s passion for his new job didn’t quenched just by serving prophet. His eagerness got developed after he saw the Holy Spirit’s communion and fellowship with Elijah. He nurtured his dream to became prophet slowly. One day in the morning quiet time, God expressed His wish to welcome Elijah to His hometown in skies. Elijah, was so thrilled about this vision. So, Elijah set his work in order and waiting for his transformation. He didn’t talk about this to his humble disciple. But God watches the humble man Elishah and want to reward him. God saw the passion in his heart and motivated him to ask from the prophet Elijah. But Elishah was afraid to ask the prophet, as Elijah is a highly disciplined prophet with huge expectation.

So, he stayed calm.

On a sunny day (after a heavenly call), Elijah wants to go into wilderness alone for the glorious journey. So, he said to Elishah that, “God assigned a specific task for me today” and he said Elijah that he is travelling to three different destinations [2 kings 2:1-9]. On three times.

But Elishah didn’t lose heart . Usually, in the summer times Israel have a hot summer of around 60 deg. Celsius. This terrific weather will be an adverse for any travelers. Moreover, Elijah and Elishah, didn’t get disappointed by the hot and perspire sun. This hard work of them, paid a reward. The former one got a heavenly citizenship and the latter one got the double portion of God’s anointing.

(C) Non-greedy for money: Elisha man of God, exhibit his godly attribute in every aspect of life.

Though Elisha, was living in an ordinary house, his fame was established in neighboring countries too. He was known by Jehoshaphat, king of Jerusalem; Benhadad, king of Syria (2 Kings 6:8).

One day after his morning prayer Elisha came back from his praying room. He was attending the needs of poor people, who came to visit him [II kings 5:1-19]. Suddenly, a runner from palace informed him about an arrival of Syrian official to Israel & the tore garments of Israel King.

Elisha enquired further and he told, “Syrian official came to Israel with a news of someone who can heals his leprosy”. According to the Israel culture, a person with leprosy should not be permitted to stay with his home. But in Syria, they don’t have this law. During this era, Israel was partially ruled by Syrians. So, Israel king welcomed the leper officer from Syria, with honor. Moreover, this leper had heard good news from Jewish slave girl, that prophet in Israel can heal him. This slave girl would have noticed the degrading the

flesh of this officer. Leprosy is a flesh-eating disease and the person who are inflated will lose their fingers in hands & legs very soon. The personal troubles faced by the officer, impacted her little servant girl largely. So, she expressed her sympathy & told the good news to her mistress of the home. This information kindled the Syrian officer and without delaying much time, he visited Mr.Benhadad, Syrian king. The Syrian king, gave his recommendation letter to Israelite king, to solve the health issues of 39

his officer. But Israelite king, considered this as a snare set by a Syrian king to develop trouble with him. So, in his despair, he teared his clothes.

Hearing this incident, Elisha the prophet asked the runner to bring the Syrian officer to his home. When the Syrian officer reached the home address of Eli -shah & waiting outside with his team. But Elisha didn’t go personally to meet/to welcome him as untouchability is practiced in Israel for lepers. So, he sent his servant with an instruction of healing.

This instruction was not considered as a good advice by the officer as he thought “Elisha will lay his hands on him to heal.” But his expectation is not fulfilled. So, he decided to disobey it. But again, one more servant of his team convincing his officer, to give a try for the Elisha’s counsel.

The minimized rest of the story is, even after the Syrian officer healed, Elisha (Fig.42) didn’t accept any offertory from the officer. Elisha was concerned about God’s command than any greater things of his life.

(D) Non-greedy for Self: Elisha,

a

mighty

prophet in the sight of God & men was also a man with selfless attitude. After a tedious long-journey from the city of shunami to the Gilgal, by foot he came and rested in the quarters of prophet. Next day

after his arrival, group of young prophets arrived with a demand, to pray God for their starving hungry.

So, Elisha (Fig.43) asked his servant to prepare a stew with the available desert herbs. Everyone happily accepted the reception showed by him. In the middle of the relaxing lunch, someone from the crowd experienced 40

strange pains in the stomach. Immediately he alerted everyone in crowd saying, “Death in the food”. But, Elisha prayed to God and used a cup of flour for converting bitter and harmful meal to the healthy meal. In this incidence, if we observe it closely. Elisha didn’t prefer to sit the primary place of guests but he is in the side of hosting the lunch party. This shows his attribute of “Others first & Me last” (E) Helping Others till his Final breadth: Elishah, though he rose to a higher level in his prophetic career and in the sight of God, but yet he chose to be unselfish man looking out to help others until the end of his life.

Case Study-1: Elijah ran a prophetic school (Fig.44) where he trained many zealous students in the spiritual path.

Elijah succeeded prophet Elijah in running the school. One day, his students (2 kings 6:1-7) wants to construct a larger hall with lengthy beams as their present living space, is

very small. While they are cutting the trees using axes, for making beams one of the axes are dropped into the river. Prophets cried as this axe is the borrowed one. Elijah prayed and make the axe to float on the surface of the river.

During this time, king of Judah (Joash) approached to seek blessings, as he was defeated by other country very often (2 kings 13:10-13). Elisha, ignored his bedridden sickness (Fig.45) and worried about helping the warrior Kind Joash.

This unique attributes of suppressing his needs and helping other people.

Another person, who sustained the Holy spirit from His birth to the life after the heaven and even for communicating with his disciple is our Lord Jesus Christ. He sustained his relationship with Holy spirit for more than 2000 years till now.

CHAPTER-7 THE END TIME RAPTURE Rapture is the process of transformation from physical realm to the heavenly realm, within the God’s regulations (according to Rogets-II dictionary). It is quoted in several chapters of the Bible on What is Rapture? How it will take place? When it will take place? Why it will take place. As a believer in Christ, every individual wants to run their race according to God’s will and complete it in heaven. Moreover, majority of Christians believe that rapture will take place as one iteration at the last day based on the bible verse: Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air-I Thessalonians 4:17(NKJV). But according to a revelation chapter-7, there are two sets of believers are mentioned. The first set of believers are Jews who are counted and sealed (Revelations 7:5-8). (i.e., These believers (Fig.46) are raptured to heaven. They are in the preparation phase for

their eternal Journey). The second set of believers, mentioned in the same chapter (Revelations 7:9-16) are non-Jewish (B’coz they washed their robes in blood of the lamb. Rev 7:14) and infinite. They passed through the great tribulation (Revelation 7:14) and reached the Heaven.

According to two chapters, 1) Rapture-I (Before tribulation) Trumpet sound will be heard and the rapture will be taken within a fraction of second. It will happen only after the resurrection of those who slept (dead).

2) Rapture-II (Amidst the beginning of Tribulation) The second rapture is for the infinite set of believers mentioned in the Revelation (Rev 7:5-14), who washed their robes in the blood of the lamb.

They will journey through great tribulation. This rapture will happen amidst the first phase of 7-year antichrist rule starts. It is also quoted in the Youtube link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3VK9qJh4A4) by a Prophet Sadhu.

3) Rapture-III (At the Post era of great Tribulation) Final rapture is for the set of Jewish believers at the second phase of 7-year antichrist era. They are counted and sealed by God. It is quoted on Revelation 7th Chapter (Revelation 7:5-8).
