TACKERS A fun introductory, games-based ‘kids learn to sail’ program designed for kids with little-to-no sailing experience. No need for a club membership to participate. All the sailing equipment is provided. Ages: 7-12.

PELICANS An Entry Club level racing boat in a mentored, safe, and fun environment. The Pelican is a two person junior training boat, it’s a great boat to learn basic racing skills on. Sailing is conducted on a Saturday morning with a mixture of both competitive and fun races during the season. Ages: 6-15.

O’PEN SKIFF

The O’pen Skiff is a fantastic boat for young sailors to experience the joy of sailing. It is fast, exciting, and fun to sail yet simple to rig and maintain. Sailing is conducted on a Saturday Morning with a mixture of both competitive and fun races during the season. Ages: 6-15.

FLYING 11S

The Flying 11 is an exciting, light weight racing dinghy, competitively sailed by 2 people. It is an excellent follow-on boat for junior classes. Ages: 6 years and up.

CHERUBS The Cherub is a 2-person dinghy with an asymmetric spinnaker and one sailor on trapeze. Cherubs have State & National Championships mixed with a vibrant social scene. Club racing is conducted on Saturday afternoons. Ages: Generally, 14 years and up.

16FT SKIFFS 16ft skiffs have a three-person crew, two on trapeze, and large mast head asymmetrical spinnakers. There are currently over 80 boats registered through 9 clubs and regattas regularly attract fleets of up to 45 boats. Club Racing is conducted on a Sunday afternoon. Ages: 12 years and over.
