How to use ultrawide PBP. Secure. Certified. Connected.

Ultrawide monitors can be used with a Dual Head SKVM or 2-Port SKM. • Ultrawide monitors offer more screen space and are ideal for splitting the display into two using Picture-by-Picture, or PBP. This feature allows you to separate the screen into two parts based on the resolution you set.

• Using a Dual Head SKVM – Modular or Universal series – a user can split the monitor and increase productivity – and declutter the desktop.

• Using a 2-Port Modular SKM, a user can split the monitor

and connect two different systems. This helps declutter the desktop by eliminating the need for a second monitor.

Step by step

1. Verify that all peripherals and computers are turned OFF. 2. Follow the Quick Installation Guide for the SKVM or SKM to ensure that all peripherals are properly connected to the Host ports. - For SKVMs, connect two video cables from the SKVM console video ports to the Ultrawide Monitor. - For SKMs, connect 1 video cable from each Host computer to the Ultrawide Monitor. 3. Enable Picture-By-Picture Mode ( a ) Using the display menu of the monitor, press the menu button. ( b ) Once the menu appears, navigate to the PIP/PBP option.

( c ) Choose the PIP/PBP Mode and ensure it is turned on. ( d ) Adjust the aspect ratio, as needed. (Options may vary depending on monitor models.) ( e ) Select the input source for each screen based on the cable connection used. ( f ) Wait until the monitor splits the screen into two separate displays.
