Beyond Belen

Belen Jesuit understands its obligation to continue developing and fostering growth and formation beyond graduation. The success of its past and present has always depended on the active participation of alumni. Therefore, healthy and active alumni engagement is crucial to the continued excellence of the school. Belen Jesuit is committed to finding innovative ways to continue engaging alumni, not only for their own spiritual and professional benefit, but for that of the current student body, faculty, and staff.

IN ORDER TO CONTINUE DEVELOPING AND FOSTERING GROWTH AND FORMATION BEYOND GRADUATION, BELEN JESUIT MUST FOCUS OUR EFFORTS IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

Class representative participation and communication with classmates

Alumni participation in school activities

Professional sections and regional groups

Spiritual and faith formation

Alumni philanthropy

IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THESE OBJECTIVES, BELEN JESUIT WILL NEED TO TAKE THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS:

Promote active engagement of class delegates through the Alumni Board

Connect alumni directly with daily school activities utilizing the Office of Career Development

Establish structured local, regional, national, and international alumni engagement programs designed to promote the wide reach and success of alumni

Create opportunities for ongoing spiritual formation including enhancing the relationship with the Agrupación Católica Universitaria (ACU)

Promote and expand annual and major giving efforts to better provide alumni and others the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and success of the school and its students while building a culture of philanthropy
