IN ORDER TO STRENGTHEN ITS ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE, CRITICAL THINKING & INNOVATION, BELEN JESUIT MUST FOCUS ITS EFFORTS IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

Recruitment, development, and retention of high-quality faculty and staff

Curriculum development designed to assure our students are well prepared for life

Graduating students with effective written and verbal communication skills

Prioritize cura personalis in college placement

Collaborative learning spaces to support problem-solving, critical thinking, and project-based work

Internship and externship program opportunities

Clarity and purpose of metrics

IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THESE OBJECTIVES, BELEN JESUIT WILL NEED TO TAKE THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS:

Actively recruit faculty and staff consistent with the missionEnsure competitive compensation and benefitsEstablish the Catholic Entrepreneurship program

Increase engagement with the Jesuits Schools Network and Jesuit Virtual Learning Academy to provide our students and faculty with more opportunities for collaboration and personal growth

Infuse written and verbal communication across the curriculum

Leverage technology to ensure students and faculty have the tools they need in the 21st century

Remodel classroom and learning spacesFurther grow our Office of Career DevelopmentIdentify and report metrics on an annual basis
