Smart lab launched for bespoke colour creation

yuv® Beauty has launched the first smart hair colour lab for professionals to create bespoke permanent and semi-permanent hair colour.

Patent-pending, the yuv® Lab, which sits on a table top, enables colourists to precisely tailored hair colour and toner formulations for each client’s hair type.

Providing up to 100% grey coverage, the yuv® hair colour is formulated using ME-PPD technology as an alternative to PPD or PTD.

The company’s yuv® pay as you dispense model means you are only charged for the product used, and smart algorithms ensure colour cartridges are automatically restocked. What’s more, the system uses refillable aluminium metal cartridges as a sustainable alternative to single-use colour tubes.

Tangle Teezer gets a sustainable makeover

Tangle Teezer’s Original brush has been redesigned and is now produced from 85% sustainably sourced, plant-based materials.

Available in pink, purple, orange and blue, the Tangle Teezer Original still features the brand’s patented twotiered teeth technology that helps to detangle hair without causing breakage whilst leaving hair glossy and frizz-free. However, it’s now made from 85% bioplastic derived from sustainably grown and harvested Castor beans.
