BeautifulBlooming

Nothing says British summer more than a garden of pretty blooms, so nail expert Caroline Robert has created this floral themed nail art design that’s easy to recreate whilst giving maximum impact. Here Caroline used Gellux Builder Gel and Gellux gel polish from the brand’s Seas the Day Summer ’23 collection.

Step #1

Prep the nails and push back the cuticles. Shape and buff the natural nail bed with a grey and yellow buffer. Dust and wipe the nails with Gellux Prep and Wipe and followed by two thin layers of Gellux Builder Gel Rose Pink, curing each layer for 60 seconds.

Lightly buff the nails for a matt look and remove any dust using a nail brush

Step #2

On the index finger, apply two coats of Gellux Cray-Sea across the whole nail.

On the middle finger, create a French tip using a thin liner art brush and Gellux Shellarious. Cure for 60 seconds.

Step #3

Using a nail art brush and Gellux Shellarious, create brush strokes in a circle to give a petal effect on the thumb and ring.

Repeat this on the little finger using Gellux Cray-Sea. Cure for 60 seconds.

Step #4

Using a dotting tool, place a dot of Gellux Rosie Anna in the centre of the petals on the thumb and ring finger, and on the little finger, apply a dot of Gellux Jades A Gem to the centre of the flowers.

Step #5

Add dots of colour to the nails, again using a dotting tool. Here we’ve used Gellux Jades A Gem to contrast on the thumb and ring finger, and Gellux Shellarious around the flowers on the little finger. Cure for 60 seconds.

Step #6

Finally for a glossy finish, apply Gellux Shiny Top Coat and cure for 60 seconds.

Wipe away the sticky residue with Gellux Prep + Wipe before applying cuticle oil to finish.
