HISTORY
Beaumont School is an all-girls’ Catholic high school in the Ursuline tradition that educates women for life, leadership and service.
Founded in 1850 by Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland, Beaumont is the oldest school in the Cleveland Diocese and the oldest all-girls’ high school in Greater Cleveland.

Sponsored by the Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland and in collaboration with its lay educators, Beaumont is dedicated to its Catholic all-girls’ college preparatory, liberal arts education in a multi-cultural setting. Our students experience intellectual, spiritual, and social growth while in and out of the classroom. A Beaumont student is confident, empowered, and strong. She has a voice; she is a self-advocate. She is a critical thinker who leads with compassion and contributes to her community. A Beaumont student embraces the world around her. The aims of Ursuline education are the formation of integrated spiritual individuals (mind, body and spirit) and the formation of women who can impact society (community formation, social awareness and consciousness, and social outreach).
