Some came as far as India, Hawaii, Canada, Florida, Louisiana, and of course California besides other states. Organized by Martin Drake and Bill Weinstock, competitors ranged in age from 7 to 91 years old. Some of the greatest lifting that we have seen anywhere included John Gilmour who at 91 years old lifted 205 lbs in the Bench Press to set a new world record. Sarah won gold medals in the Bench Press, Farmer’s Carry, Strict Pushups, Strict Pullups, Weighted Pullups, Standing Long Jump, Tire Toss, Bench Press for Reps, and Deadlift for Reps. She won the Most Versatile Athlete Award for the women. Sarah gives her son, Rob, a lot of credit for her success.
