Main Street Bridges

The new Main Street bridge, referred to as the Iron Bridge, opened in 1909.

This photo was taken shortly after the completion of the new steel bridge. Fresh gravel and sand can be seen at each end of the bridge.

This bridge was replaced with today's bridge, as Main Street and Mosley Streets were added as an extension to the Provincial King's Highway 92. It was constructed during 19601961 with completion and official opening in October of 1961.
