Huronia West OPP
Detachment held a “Cram-A-Cruiser” event at the Real Canadian Superstore in Wasaga Beach

It was not just one cruiser being loaded up, but after officers calling for another car, they had a total of three cruisers, lights flashing, attracting attention at the main entrance to the store. With Community Safety/Media Relations PC Lindsay Griffin (of “Our Town” feature in beach BOOSTER) on scene, with some enthusiastic OPP Auxiliary Officers helping, it was a fun and active collection of groceries for donation to the Wasaga Beach Ministerial Food Bank.
Shoppers entering the store enjoyed seeing the officers and the police vehicles, and many returned with bundles and even shopping carts full of items to be “crammed” into the three awaiting cruisers.
The final numbers were approximately 1,100 lbs of groceries & over $800.00 cash donated.

Good Job Huronia West and all who participated.
