#NothingLikeASuburb We believe that Berwyn cannot be blended into suburbia because we are a thriving, self-made city defined by our local pride. It’s our active nightlife spots, unique bungalow homes, progressive policies and focus on creating more independent businesses that sets us apart from any other city. For the past 12 years, the Berwyn Development Corporation has partnered with the City of Berwyn to position our community as a top choice destination for first time and move-up homebuyers, as well as business entrepreneurs and visitors. The objective is to create a driving desire in our audience to visit and live in Berwyn. The #NothingLikeASuburb campaign is tied directly to WhyBerwyn.com and our social media. The campaign also includes an annual installation of outdoor advertising, digital marketing campaigns and direct outreach at Northalsted Market Days. The 2018 Campaign will go live this June and features chef Ambrocio Gonzalez of Las Quecas de Berwyn, chef Brendan O'Connor of Big Guys Sausage Stand, resident and local musician Kara Kesselring and resident and local artist Naomi Martinez, also known as Monstrochika. This year's images were captured in collaboration with local resident and WeOurStory creator Joel Gonzalez!
