WSU-Tech Intro to Business: BCCHS Prerequisite: Personal Finance

WSU-TechFundamentals of Accounting: BCCHS Prerequisite: Accounting I required, Accounting II recommended.

WSU-Tech Construction Science: St. Joseph the Worker Trade Academy

Program enrollment occurs the semester prior to classes. Please see your counselor for more information about the enrollment process. Each program offers free or reduced tuition!

The following is a timeline to follow.

December to Mid-March

• Pre-enrollment begins.

• Meet with your BC counselor to review WSU Tech requirements and your progress towards graduation from Bishop Carroll.

• Complete the BC application and return to the Counseling Office

• Go to WSU Tech and complete a free, Jump Start application under the high school tab. Once the Jump Start application is submitted. then complete an application to WSU Tech.

February

• WSU classes offered by WSU Tech in the fall will become available to BC students.

• Attend a parent meeting hosted by Bishop Carroll administration and WSU Tech

March

• Enrollment submissions for WSU Tech begin on the first Monday of March.

• You will work with your Bishop Carroll counselor to choose your WSU Tech classes. It is important to be punctual, as many programs fill quickly.

May

• Enrollment finalized including information such as estimated book costs and program expectations.

• Mandatory parent meeting hosted by WSU Tech listing their expectations.

July 15

• Final book costs released and students contacted about information from WSU Tech.

August

• Mandatory meetings for BC students enrolled with WSU Tech at BC to discuss high school expectations.

• Fall courses begin.

September

• Spring Block schedules (courses) with basic descriptions will be emailed to high schools and posted on this website.

October

• Enrollment submission begins.

• Enrollment for returning students occurs during WSU Tech classes.

November

• Enrollment finalized.

December

• Mandatory meetings for new BC students enrolled in spring semester for WSU Tech at BC to discuss high school expectations.

• Includes information such as estimated book costs and program expectations
