Board of Trustees election set for May 6; early voting starts April 24 La Porte ISD’s Board of Trustees election will be held on Saturday, May 6, with early voting beginning April 24. Incumbent Lois Rogerson is unopposed in her bid for Position 1 on the Board. Dennis Slate is also unopposed for the Position 3 seat, which is currently held by Phillip Hoot. Kathy Green and Phillip Hoot are candidates for Position 2, which is currently held by Green.
