President Biden and every living former U.S. President except one - Donald Trump, who opted to host a title boxing match instead spent the day honoring the victims and their families.

BAVUAL Remembers: 2 African-American Sports Legends Rafer Johnson becomes the first African American to win the Olympic Decathlon at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, September 6, 1960. Arthur Ashe defeated Tom Okker of the Netherlands in the men's finals of the U.S. Open on September 9, 1968 and becomes the first African American male to win.
