Drunk on The Pain You were high on love, I was drunk on the pain, crazy how happy you were, dancing in the rain, like you felt nothing, not even the shame, I gave you everything, wondering if by doing that delight from you I could obtain, all of the sadness, all of the sorrow I contained, thinking that this might eventually work out, that this may not go in vain, hopeless I was trying to get my mind back, myself on the right lane, if only I knew that this isn’t going nowhere, that I’m just going insane, last time was the last time too, said this would never happen again, now here we are, to my heart, to my demons I’m trying to explain, why did I get on this flight, on this plane, I guess I just wanted to feel good about myself, feel humane, to love someone so hard, that they make everything go away, that my inner peace, my joy, they help me regain, my elation they help me sustain, guess I was just wrong, I was reaching for something so perfect, that no one person could attain.

We spent late nights talking, deep conversations, it never got boring, even in my dreams, towards you I was walking, like I always needed you, like for your presence I was longing, it got so complicated, in my mind I started exploring, for some explanations, for someone to help me understand what this might be causing, I even sat down, hands open, to God I began imploring, for all this to be a video that I could be pausing, for all of these memories to be ones away I could be tossing, ones that I’d never try restoring, ones that I could easily be ignoring, out of this losing game, myself I’m withdrawing, never joining it again, my heart I’m crossing, another chance to forget, another glass I’m pouring, hopefully this time it will happen, hopefully this time out of this agony I’ll be soaring.

GoodBye What you had once is gone, you just have to accept that and move on, yes it hurts and sometimes you still feel alone, out of this losing game, out of this misery you want to be withdrawn, stuck in a loop, in a hole, waking up everyday feeling the pain, like toward it you’re being drawn, it has become an addiction, something playing you, controlling you, like you’re a pawn, the sorrow you’re always feeling, your heart apart has been torn, to never fall for this, to never love again, you’ve sworn, your happiness you want back, your life to adorn, with all great things, like you’re just born, so just keep having faith, keep believing that there’s always a new beginning, a new change, a new dawn.

Despair to you has become an ally, sitting outside, calmly breathing while staring at the sky, watching the stars wondering if you could ever re-try, wishing that God would give you another chance so you could accept the agony after that hurtful goodbye, all of the bad things, all of the warnings you chose to deny, every time your family, your friends alerted you, their advice you chose to defy, every night on your bed, before you sleep, you cry, while praying to have the strength to get up, yourself to untie, forget about it all, and toward inner peace fly, you’re the only one to blame, for every lie that has come out of her mouth, you’ve decided to buy, thought this could actually work out, thought she’d appreciate you being a nice guy, look at you now, fully teary eyes, dreaming that she would finally reply, apologize and promise to never leave again, to never abandon you, to never say goodbye.

Beneath the Silence We say we’re just friends as an excuse to text, scared of admitting our feelings, scared of being expressed, constantly thinking, should I move onto the next step ?

Or staying like this is probably for the best ? Can’t decide if this is real or if it’s just another lesson sent from above, perhaps another test.. My heart needs some peace, some rest, plenty of time for it to get fixed, the last couple months have been tough, by depression I was possessed, but hopefully this time it’ll be different, hopefully this time I’ll get blessed, she’s one that’s different from the others, different from the rest, but that feeling is always around, the fear of making the situation more complicated, more complex, I want to get closer to her, to connect, but I’m just scared of losing her, scared that my heart might get wrecked, I just don’t want for these feelings to be buried, to be suppressed.

I hope I find the confidence to express my emotions, reveal what’s inside, break through the silence, no longer be terrified, of what might happen, of the fears that reside, and maybe seize the chance for a love that won’t hide, take my time and finally decide, that even if it all falls down, if my way into her heart gets denied, I’ll still leave with my courage, my pride, hold my hope and my stride, for maybe another angel whose eyes with my heart will coincide.

Missing Piece of Me Oh it's for the first time that I see a laugh being so free, I think I have found my melody, a soft rhythm that can make my heart sway, inside those glowing eyes there’s a story to be told, a beautiful portray. In that moment, time seemed to fold, felt like the world around me was fading away.

As she turned her gaze towards me, striking my craving heart with that perfect smile, I have decided to stay, no longer cared about how long it’s gonna take, even if it's for the entire day.

But I still wonder how can I approach her with a hey, my sweet love to her, I will attempt to convey. But I fear that silence will end up being the only way, though I will try to gather the courage to speak, oh how I pray that she'll hear the truth I seek, see that in her heart is where I'm meant to be, see that she's the missing piece of me.

Locked Eyes You walked in, I walked out, we locked eyes, time froze and emotions began to rise. Words can’t describe, what I’ve just seen, beauty in disguise, in that brief encounter, how our paths have intertwined. Is it finally fate or is it just lies, made up by my craving heart, by my naïve mind, they say life is a game and love is the prize, and in that second I got lost in your gaze, ignored all the signs.

Can this be the beginning of something great or is it just a passing moment, the end of our ties, as I stand here, on the edge of fate’s design, wondering if you will be the reason for all the cries, or the delight that finally arrives, but in those eyes I swear I can see the truth that denies, the truth that defies that love is a losing game, that love is a never ending pain, that love is just a bunch of lies.

Yellow Tree On a quiet park bench under a yellow tree, where I hangout alone, listening to the whispers of the restless sea, there she was sitting, beauty of the highest degree, with those green glowing eyes, my heart out of my chest it wanted to flee, couldn’t stop staring at her, lost in her gaze, time ceased to be, it’s for the first time that I see, something so pretty, so free, and in that fleeing moment, I found the key, to my everlasting happiness, to my destiny, she’s the one, I can guarantee, and with her by my side, I will finally know what love could be.
