You will use the Anatomage Table, a virtual cadaver offering gross full-body anatomy and over 120 pathological examples. We are one of the first universities in Florida to use this cutting-edge technology.

12-Month Track We place qualified students who have completed all of the prerequisite science coursework and just missed the acceptance mark into professional health school into this accelerated track.

Our program is housed a few blocks from downtown Hollywood, with its wide variety of eateries and bustling shops, Young Circle Park, and cultural center.

You’re also less than two miles from Hollywood Beach and the Atlantic Ocean.

Things you should know about the Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences

18-Month/2-Year Tracks These tracks still prepare you for acceptance to medical and dental school but at a slightly less rigorous pace than the 12-month program.

Research Track Consider this track if you are currently employed in the health care industry and want to advance in your field, wish to enter the biomedical field in industry or teaching, or want to prepare for a PhD program in the biomedical sciences. The research curriculum is always completed on a two-year track.

Curriculum We offer three non-thesis curriculum options: • Dental (34 credits) • Medical (34 credits) • Research (33 credits) The medical and dental options are intense programs of study that give you a broad biomedical education consistent with the first year of medical and dental school.

The research option will help you develop the knowledge and skills necessary for a position in research or in the biomedical industry.
