POSITION SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to perform food and drink serving duties at dinners and special events while interacting with guests in a positive, friendly and efficient manner ensuring they have a great experience. At all times, our banquet servers are expected to be attentive to our guest needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, and important. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
Set up for events by putting out tablecloths and place settings, arranging table placement and/or setting up buffet Ability to carry plates of food on trays or three plates in synchronized service Execute proper table maintenance Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness Adhere to grooming and appearance standards PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous serving experience in banquet setting minimum 2 yrs. Excellent customer service skills, guest first mentality Pristine grooming standards Ability to communicate effectively, multiple languages a plus Superb time management skills and attendance record Capacity to stand or walk for extended periods of time, could be up to 5 hours or more BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent Previous serving experience in casual dining setting or guest services with minimum 1 yr. Excellent oral communication and listening skills Ability to follow directions Banquet servers MUST provide their own uniform. Uniforms may vary Standard uniforms consists of a white tuxedo shirt (no ruffles and no buttons on collar), black tie, black pants(with either sliding waistband or belt loops), black belt
