Rev. Pam Durso, Ph.D
President Pamela R. Durso serves as the 11th president of Central Seminary in Shawnee, Kansas where she began her tenure on June 1, 2020.
Prior to her leadership at Central, Dr. Durso was executive director of Baptist Women in Ministry for 11 years, and there she was a resource for women serving in all areas of Christian ministry. From 1999-2003, Dr. Durso was assistant professor of church history and Baptist heritage at Campbell University Divinity School in Buies Creek, North Carolina, and for ten years, she was an adjunct faculty member at McAfee School of Theology in Atlanta, teaching Baptist history and church history electives.
Dr. Durso holds two degrees from Baylor University (B.A. in Religion and Ph.D. in Church History). She is the author and/or editor of ten books, including The Story of Baptists in the United States, which she co-wrote with her husband Keith. Pam and Keith are the parents of two adult children, Michael and Alex.

Rev. Carolyn L. Gordon, Ph.D.
Carolyn L. Gordon is the Associate Professor of Mass Communication, Acting Chair and Coordinator of the Convergent Media Graduate Program at Mississippi Valley State University. She also serves as the Associate Pastor of the Mt. Gaza Missionary Baptist Church in Stringtown, Mississippi.
Before relocating to MVSU, Dr. Gordon taught at Fuller Theological Seminary as the Associate Professor of Communication and served as the Chair of the Preaching and Communication Department. She has also served as Associate Professor for Church and Community Ministry at Central Baptist Theological Seminary and the Director of Ministries in Higher Education for the District of Columbia Baptist Convention.
Dr. Gordon holds degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism (B.J.), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv, MA in Communications, and MRE), and Howard University (Ph.D. in Human Communication Studies).
Dr. Gordon is the former Vice President for Baptist Women in Ministry. Dually ordained by both the Southern and National Baptist Conventions Dr. Gordon is both nationally and internationally known preacher, teacher, and conference speaker. She made history in 2010 when she traveled to Tanzania, Africa to attend the first ever Global Preaching Summit. She was the only female homiletician in the world, invited.

Rev. Mrs. Alicia Sedaca Zorzoli
Rev. Mrs. Alicia Sedaca Zorzoli was born in Uruguay from Baptist missionary parents. Rev. Zorzoli was a professor at the International Baptist Seminary in Argentina for 12 years in the areas of Christian Writing, Spanish, English and Preaching.
For 23 years Rev. Zorzoli worked at the Baptist Spanish Publishing House in El Paso, TX as an editor, Women’s Department Director, Youth Department Director, and Editorial Director. During that time created a four-year Missions Education curriculum called “Aventuras Misioneras” and was the Chief Editor for two printed magazines: “La Ventana” and “Solución.”
Among her published works are Pinafores and Pelotas (a children’s missionary book), ¡Dios, esto no estaba en mis planes! (God, this was not in my plans!), other book chapters, and magazine articles for women’s Christian magazines in Latin America. After retiring and moving to Arlington, Texas, Rev. Zorzoli does freelance translation and editorial work for different ministries and speaks at conferences in the USA and Latin America. As a preacher and conference speaker, she has traveled to more than 52 countries.
Rev. Zorzoli holds a Licenciatura en Teología from International Baptist Seminary in Argentina and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. She is married to Rev. Rubén Zorzoli. They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.

Rev. Zina Jacque, Ph.D.
Rev. Zina Jacque, Ph.D. is the Assistant to the Pastor for Small Groups at the Historic Alfred Street Baptist Church. Her primary responsibility is facilitating the learning and growth generated among the 1,000+ participants in the Villages of Alfred Street. Dr. Jacque entered this position after leading the Community Church of Barrington in Illinois for fifteen years.
Jacque has served on multicultural, urban, and suburban church staffs and has done extensive work in education, counseling, and support programs.
She has worked in the not-for-profit realm, founding and serving as the first Executive Director of the innovative Pastoral Counseling Center of Trinity Church Boston and the Executive Director of the Boston Ten Point Coalition.
She serves as the President and Chair of the Board of the National Senior Communities, the largest portfolio of not-for-profit continuing-care retirement communities. Additionally, she serves as one of the three founders and a host for A Year of Courageous Conversations (www.courageousconversations.us). This pivotal project has engaged over 2,000 community members and beyond. Through this dialogue series, participants ponder how we, as individuals and communities, might foster greater inclusion and belonging in our communities.
Jacque holds a Ph.D. in Theology (Practical Theology) and a Master of Divinity degree (Summa Cum Laude) from Boston University, an M.D. from Columbia University, and a B.A. from Northwestern University. She has served as adjunct professor of Pastoral Care at Boston University and the University of Chicago. Jacque is described as an agent of change, a voice of hope, and a person of faith.

Rev. Mandy McMichael, Ph.D.
Dr. Mandy McMichael serves as Associate Director and the J. David Slover Associate Professor of Ministry Guidance in Baylor's Department of Religion. An ordained Baptist minister, Dr. McMichael's research examines gender and American religious culture, beauty and religion, women in ministry, and more. She's the author of the book, Miss America's God: Faith and Identity in America's Oldest Pageant (Baylor Press, 2019). Her research projects include an oral history project with the collection of interviews with Baptist women in ministry, through a project entitled Baptist Women in Ministry: In Their Own Words, in conjunction with the Baylor Institute for Oral History. Mandy lives in Waco, Texas with her husband and two children.

Rev. Dr. Patricia Mercer Hernandez serves as Associate General Secretary for American Baptist Women in Ministry and Transition Ministries with the ABCUSA Office of the General Secretary. Rev. Hernandez cares deeply about breaking barriers, building bridges and becoming Beloved Community where all God’s people are able to fully utilize their God-given gifts and fully live out their God-given calls. She is a graduate of the University of Chicago, Colgate Rochester Divinity School, and Central Baptist Theological Seminary.

Cliff Vaughn, Ph.D.
Cliff Vaughn is the media producer at Good Faith Media. He worked since 2000 at EthicsDaily.com (Baptist Center for Ethics) making videos, feature and short documentaries and podcasts. His most recent project is the documentary which will premiere at the 40th Anniversary BWIM Annual Gathering. Cliff holds a BA from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, an MA from Auburn University and a PhD from Bowling Green State University. He lives in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife and two children.
