New footbridges for North Lakes

Council’s contractor recently completed the replacement of two new pedestrian bridges within the North Lakes Estate in Ballina, which connect Seahorse Place and Teraglin Place.

The two new bridges have replaced the previous timber structures that reached the end of their useful life and saw one of the bridges temporarily closed.

The new bridges are constructed of composite fibre material and will have a significantly longer life compared to the previous structures.
