Daha y Fatimetu sufrieron el efecto del silencio de las minas, sus vidas cambiaron para siempre, como la del pueblo saharaui que tras 14 años limpiando el desierto de artefactos la ruptura del alto al fuego han dejado en el aire el futuro de la contaminación de su territorio.

Women’s voices rise to deliver testimonies of victims of sexual violence. It is by reconstructing a story with these fragments of experience that a societal portrait is painted over the course of the documentary. Like a mosaic, the pieces stick together to build a unique story that could be that of any human. The images are meant to be a reappropriation of the female body in order to offer it a place as a body-subject and never again as a body-object.

Mientras va en camino a realizar un entierro, Sonia reflexiona sobre su relación con la muerte y sobre la dignidad al momento de morir.

Sonia decided to give her life to the dead and lives among caskets and graves in her own cemetery in Riohacha, La Guajira. Since she was little, she saw the inequality and indifference that some people face even in their own deaths, so she decided to dedicate herself to give a dignified burial to the bodies that nobody cares for. As she is on her way to perform a funeral, she reflects on her relationship with death and about dignity upon death.

The city of Quito dawns on a new Good Friday and the faithful prepare for the traditional procession in the historic center. Meanwhile, two workers arrive at an old house being restored and find a naked and crucified corpse. Nearby there is a parked car and inside it, a man with a blood-stained shirt who observes the house with apparent “calmness.” This is the story of a scammer who takes advantage of the family of a girl whom many consider miraculous.
