GENERAL NOTES Situation From the A632 Matlock to Chesterfield Road, take Wirestone Lane at the top of Slack Hill signed for Matlock Farm Park. After Approximately ! mile the sale field is situated on the right-hand side.

From the B5057 Chesterfield to Darley Dale Road travel up from Darley Dale and after 3 " miles pass Darwin Forest complex on the left. After a further # mile reach the crossroads and turn right towards Slack Hill and the main A632. Continue along this lane for approximately ! mile with the sale field lying on the left. **Please note the sale field and car park is situated on the side of Wirestone Lane and do not follow the sat nav down the narrow lanes to the farm** ‘To the Sale’ and ‘Car Park’ signs will be erected on the morning of the sale.

Cheques/Payments-Payment Is Required On Sale Day Intending Purchasers not known to the Auctioneers must produce, prior to bidding, an acceptable Banker’s reference. Under new regulations introduced by the Banks, such references are now only obtainable by the Bank’s customers themselves and have to be obtained by them direct from their Bank and forwarded to us. Unless an acceptable Banker’s Reference is produced Payment is Strictly Cash. Persons unknown to the Auctioneers and who pay by cheque will have their goods impounded until cheques have cleared. The Auctioneers reserve the right to refuse a bid off any potential unknown customer.

Export Purchasers – All goods must be paid for in pounds sterling (£).

VAT on Export Goods – Under regulations imposed by HM Customs & Excise, the auctioneers must account in a proper manner for VAT on export goods. All customers must pay all VAT on the purchase price of goods on sale day. On receipt of all relevant export documentation and bills of laden (which must be received in the prescribed time limits), the auctioneers will then refund relevant VAT sums.

FOREWORD This genuine small sale arises as a result of the passing of Mr John Spencer who had a varied array of machinery and effects and a small farming enterprise.

Purchasers should note that all items from the Late Mr Spencer’s estate will be sold with no VAT applicable.

There are various other items including a 4WD Case tractor from local neighbours to be sold at this small mid season sale.

The auction sale is being conducted in accordance with strict social distancing rules and Government Guidelines in accordance with COVID 19 regulations.

4.All persons on site must register with their name and contact telephone number on arrival.
