It is now a quarter of a century since the Princess Royal opened the Agricultural Business Centre at Bakewell, which has proved to be an unqualified success, providing modern facilities where high standards of welfare can be maintained for both people and livestock.
Bagshaws, who have conducted livestock sales in Bakewell for over 100 years are delighted to welcome you to the `ABC`, the acknowledged regional centre for livestock farmers in the Peak District and beyond.
The busy Monday and Thursday livestock auctions provide a backbone for the other activities that take place on the site, from special sales, farmers gatherings and technical meetings, to our Primestock Show and Carol Service that brings the Farming Community together at Christmas.
Our auctioneers have a wealth of experience in selling livestock, constantly updated by the relentless pace of change in technology and regulation. We are happy to help with any queries you may have.
Alongside the livestock auction, Bagshaws professional services are on hand to deal with all manner of property and valuation work with regular property auctions held on the premises.
The Farm Office Services Team are also on site at Bakewell Market to assist you with all of the red tape and paperwork that comes with farming, so pop into the office for a chat.
We are Bagshaws; rooted in the past, focused on the future.
