ENTRY GUIDELINES:
This is a meet for 9y-10y, 11y-12y, 13y-14y and high school (HS), and OPEN/Unattached adult athletes only Athletes do not have to represent their school team Theymay compete asan unattached athlete or as a member ofa club team. Competitors must bring a valid school or government ID for possible age verification We will conduct random checks at registration.
Qualifying Standards: athletes will be required to meet the qualifying standard to compete in certain events. Please see Attachments “A” and “B” herein.

ENTRY DEADLINES:
Regular Entry Perioddeadline: Noon, Friday, May 10, 2024
Late Entry Period: 5:00 p.m. Friday, May11, 2024 through Noon Friday, May 17, 2024
ENTRY FEES:
1. Entries are not ACCEPTED until payment is completed. No payments will be accepted at the meet. NO REFUNDS ARE ALLOWED AFTER ENTRIES ARE ACCEPTED.
2. Regular Entry Periodfees are $20 per athlete per event. *
3. Late entries completed during the Late Entry Period will be $30 per athlete per event.*
*Note: Entry fees cover the cost of the timing crew, officials, trainers, awards and facilities.
MEET DAY ARRIVAL CHECK IN (See ATTACHMENTS “D” and “E”):
Athletes may check in for the meet at the REGISTRATION TABLE located beneath the bleachers on the east side of the track (between the bleachers and the track). Please be prepared to present your registration receipt from http://www.athletic.net (if needed). Registration will be open during the following times:
• Friday, May 24, 2024 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday, May 25, 2024 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Coach Wristbands
Coach wristbands are FREE but will only be issued upon request and approval by the Head Coach. Coaches will have access to the warm-up field and reasonable access to their athletes as they compete. To be added to the COACH LIST - submit requests via text to 469.337.2988 or via email at majorimpacttrackclubtx@gmail.com. Coaches must be 21 years old or older.
ALL MINOR ATHLETES MUST HAVE AN ADULT ONSITE AT ALL TIMES.
PARTICIPANTENTRY, CREDENTIALS AND SEATING / TENTING:
• All competing athletes will be issued a wristband for the meet.
• Coach wristbands will be distributed to individuals on the COACH LIST at the registration desk. Please see “MEET DAY ARRIVAL CHECK IN” above regarding the process to secure coach wristband.
• Non-competing children will NOT be allowed in the warm-up field at any time.
• Athletes and coaches may sit/stand outside of the warm-up field or sit in the bleachers. Stadium seating is limited. Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. Tenting will be permitted around the perimeter of the track.
• One wristband per person will be issued for the day.
TIMING:
The meet will be timed by Richelle Johnson and Coach Stacey Johnson
SEEDING:
All running events will be seeded and lanes drawn according to times submitted. No changes will be made at the meet.
ADVANCEMENT PROCEDURE:
• Running Events:
▪ 100m/100mh/110mh: Top 8 times from preliminary rounds will advance to final rounds
▪ All other running events will be contested in sections against time.
• Field Events:
▪ HS Long Jump/HS Triple Jump: Top 8 competitors from the preliminary rounds will advance to the final round.
▪ Long Jump: 9y-10y, 11y-12y, 13y-14y will get 3 jumps only
MEET RULES:
• No headphones or personal sound systems (mp3, iPods, etc.) will be allowed on the warm-up field.

SPIKES:
Please use ¼” pyramid spikes
NO NEEDLE SPIKES OR CHRISTMAS TREE SPIKES ALLOWED.
RUNWAY MARKS:
White athletic tape may be used on the runways. Chalk and cones are not permitted.
OPENING HEIGHTS:
Opening heights in Pole Vault and High Hump will be determined by meet management based on entry marks.

The William A. Shirley Family Track will be available for athletes on:
• Friday, May 24, 2024 Track CLOSED for warm-up 5:00 p m – 7:00 p m for registration
• Saturday, May 25,2024 7:00 a m – 3:00 p m Registration open 7:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Track OPENfor warm-up
COMPETITION WARM-UP AND EVENT CHECK IN(See ATTACHMENTS “C” and “E”
):
The warm-up area will be available on the track at the times noted above.
Running Events: Report to the CLERK OF THE COURSE ready to run when your event is called.
Field Events: athletes must check in with the CLERK OF THE COURSE, then athletes should proceed to their field event site on the west or north side of the track
Long JumpandTripleJump: areport call forthenextflight will bemade at the conclusion of the first round of the flight in progress.
High Jump: competitors should report to the competition site at the north side of the track 30 minutes prior to the start of their competition.
Pole Vault: competitors should report to the competition site at the northwest side of the track 45 minutes prior to the start of their competition
HEAT SHEETS AND RESULTS:
Heat sheets will be posted on http://www.athletic.net/ by 9:00 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 2024. Event results will be posted online at http://www.athletic.net/ at the conclusion of each event.
COACHING AREAS:
As directed by meet officials.
AWARDS:
Awards will be presented to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
SECURITY AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES:
Will be provided onsite.

Team Buses/Vans, Competitors, and Spectators:
Lot in the back of the school (off of Hornet Rd). Parking is free.
SPECTATOR ENTRY / TICKETS:
Spectatorsmust enter from the Hornet Road parking lot (between the pool and the tennis courts). See “ATTACHMENT C”
Tickets will be available onsite for $10/adult. Kids are free. Payments may be made by cash, PayPal, CashApp or Zelle.
Spectator Wristbands: Will provide access to the meet as a spectator in general admission seating in the bleachers. No access to the warm-up field will be permitted.
COMPETITION ETIQUETTE:
Meet management reserves the right to dismiss any athlete, parent, club, team, organization, school, orinstitutionfrom thecompetitionfor disciplinaryreasons or for not following meet protocol.
