WELCOME TO DANCE!!!

BY MARTY ROBERTS, STUDIO OWNER It's so great to see all the faces (or at least the sparkling eyes) of our new and returning students!

We are beyond excited to welcome you to Backstage Dance Studio for our 37th season! If you are returning to BDS, we are grateful for your support and thrilled to have you back. If you are new to BDS, thank you for choosing us as your place of dance, acro and cirque. I know we will have an awesome year!

COVID PROTOCOLS

We are so happy to have your dancers back in the studio with us! In order to help keep our students and staff as safe and healthy as possible, please make sure you adhere to our COVID guidelines.

We will strictly enforce the entry of of DANCERS ONLY to our buildings beginning October 1. We apologize for the inconvenience and can’t wait to welcome parents back in the studio when it is safe to do so!

DRESS CODE

Is your dancer dressed appropriately for class? Proper dress code allows our instructors to see body lines and correct technique, keeps our dance floors clean and dirt free, and helps your child to focus on classroom instruction.

Passport Books are coming home starting in October for our younger students. Please help us in teaching your child about responsibility by assuring they bring the Passport to class every week to earn stickers and recognition.

Look for a culture card coming home with your child when we notice them displaying this trait, either in the classroom or the lobby at Backstage!

Celebrate the Season Wear your costume the week of October 25 - 30. Please no scary ones, and make sure you can move, groove and dance freely in it!

Top 3 FAQ's Can I take a trial class?

Yes! We would love to have you try a class if we have space available. You must let us know prior to coming to class so we are prepared with a trial class entry pass.

Can I come into the studio to watch my child?

Unfortunately we have a closed lobby at this time in order to keep our students and staff as safe as possible. We look forward to having a busy, bustling lobby as soon as it is safe to do so.

Can I sign up for a new class in the middle of the month?

You are able to register at ANY time, not just at the beginning of the month. We are happy to prorate tuition for late starts.
