We had such a wonderful time with you and your dancers during our Spring Show performances this past weekend!! The energy levels were fantastic and your dancers did a great job both on- and off-stage to showcase their dance skills and positive attitudes Thank you, parents, for the part you played in making sure your dancers arrived prepared and in costume for show photo week, dress rehearsals, and finally, our Spring Shows We understand the effort it takes and can’t tell you how much we appreciate you! The commitment to your child does not go unnoticed and culminated in beautiful performances by all dancers. We are so proud of them!
DON’T EXPERIENCE THE “SUMMER SLIDE”
The term “Summer Slide” refers to the distinct learning loss that students can experience when out of school for the summer
“A regression in academic proficiency due to summer break, experts warn it hinders kids’ progress when they head back to school.” (Scholastic)
Dancers also experience Summer Slide when they don’t participate in dancerelated activities over the summer! Make sure your dancers continue to build on the skills they worked so hard to learn during the school-year session by enrolling them in one of our classes or camps this summer We are offering six weeks of classes and camps this summer, with options for all ages! We look forward to continuing your child’s dance education this summer!
MEMBERSHIP LEVELS/ 2025-2026 SCHOOL-YEAR SESSION REGISTRATION
We are offering family membership levels again for the 2025-2026 dance season. Membership levels replaced our annual family registration fees and there are different costs/benefits associated with each level. Information has been shared via email over the past several weeks, but if you missed it, please review Membership Levels 2025-2026 for all the details!
You will select one of the following three options: PREMIUM membership, COMMUNITY membership, or OPT-OUT of classes for the upcoming session The deadline for families to select a membership level is Saturday, June 7th; please fill out the 2025-2026 Membership Form by June 7th to select your family’s membership level for next year. If you do not select one of the options by the deadline, your family will be assigned to Community Level membership for the 2025-2026 session.
2025-2026 SCHEDULE OF CLASSES:
Preparing for our Spring Shows took most of our time and energy these past several weeks, so we are still working on finalizing our preliminary list of classes for the 2025-2026 School-Year Session. We anticipate having the schedule available for our current families the early part of the week June 9th.
For those who select Premium level membership, classes will be available for you to register for on Saturday, June 14th. Community level memberships will have the option to register for classes on June 28th Since the deadline for selecting a membership level is before we release our fall schedule, if you find that none of the classes available work with your schedule, please email dancewithus@backstagedance.org and we will issue you a refund of the membership fee.

Auditions for our Signature and STARS teams are on Saturday, June 14th! The deadline for registering for auditions was June 1, and dancers are currently taking audition prep classes to prepare for the final audition
