Chatham Mills Historic Stabilization & Renovation Currently Under Construction Landmark has completed preconstruction services and has started construction for this project utilizing Federal Historic Tax Credits, State Historic Mill Tax Credits and a HUD financing programing. This project is a 249,000 SF adaptive reuse restoration of the old Chatham Mills manufacturing facility in Winston-Salem into a multi-family housing complex.

Mullen Communications Historic Office Renovation This project included a 34,726 SF renovation of existing space located in the 525@vine building in the Wake Forest Innovation Quarter in Winston-Salem, into state-of-the art office space for Mullen Communications.

The office includes an open concept to encourage a creative culture. The office has multiple collaboration spaces and open meeting rooms, as well as a large break area with full kitchen and lounge area. There is a custom-designed photo studio, sound studio and three edit suites that provide post-production services for broadcast television and web content.

Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church Parish Life Center Landmark recently completed this 3-story, 17,000 square foot renovation at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Greensboro, North Carolina. The project entailed converting an existing school building to their new Parish Life Center, including major structural modifications to the existing structure for a new HVAC system and a 4-stop elevator.

The project also included creating classrooms, relocating the main church offices, building a full commercial kitchen to go along with a large banquet hall and an outdoor patio area.

FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital Dialysis Unit Renovations

Size: 1,889 SF

Unique Features: •

Renovation of former lab space into dialysis

Landmark Builders completed construction of inpatient and outpatient dialysis unit renovations at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC. The outpatient portion of the project, formerly lab space, was renovated to support the new dialysis function. The 3rd floor inpatient unit was renovated to increase its functionality, including additional beds and nurse call stations. In both renovated areas, the finishes were upgraded, the dialysis filtration boxes were concealed in cabinetry, and new flooring, window treatments and wall coverings were installed.

The renovated facility will consist of dialysis stations to provide dialysis services to patients six days a week. The center will be staffed by registered nurses specially trained in dialysis care.

Universal Furniture Showroom Renovation The existing structure is a combination of a one-story brick building constructed in 1890 and a three-level showroom constructed in 1987.

Size: 85,000 SF

Unique Features: •

The renovations incorporate the architectural character of the original 1890 building.

The interior atrium was updated to function as entertainment space for meeting and presenting. A partial demolition of the facade and part of the three-level building provides space for dining that flows outside into a covered courtyard. Open studio-style working and show room space was added to the main level as well as private offices.

High Point Chamber of Commerce Office Renovation This 24,000 square foot building was fully renovated from a carpet showroom into a convention and visitor’s center for the High Point Chamber of Commerce. Building amenities include solid cherry raised panel walls, cherry millwork, crown chair rail, hardwood flooring and indirect lighting.

This 14,000 square foot project consists of a 3,951 square foot office addition and 10,296 SF office renovation. The building was a conventional steel structure with a combination of EIFS, masonry and glass exterior walls, and a single ply membrane roof.

Advanced Home Care Office Upfit Located in High Point, North Carolina, this project is a single story office upfit totaling over 28,000 square feet. The renovation included upgrades to the reception entrance, cubicle office spaces, conference rooms and warehouse space.
