Mitusu, theatre for children and youngsters In November and December the reunion with a school audience will be reactivated with the stage arts via the Mitusu and Azkuna Zentroa project. Visual & Musical Theatre
The Basque singer-composer Mikel Laboa used to sing “Txirristi mirristi, gerrena plat, olio zopa, kikili salda, urrup, edan edo klik, ikimilikiliklik”, and we all imagined a witch. The protagonist of this show is a little girl who ends up becoming a witch; however, she’s not the only protagonist, because the word is also an unavoidable dramatic element. In Zapata-kaxa batean bizi zen neska (The little girl who lived in a shoebox), theatre and technology lead us to a highly poetic and funny performance where the narrator’s voice guides the young audience through the story, which combines with the young protagonist’s songs, with images projecting her world of fear and fantasy together with the large box presiding the stage likewise the volatile characters who appear and disappear around her as if by magic.. Teloncillo Baltasar jaunaren animaliak This is a story about a man who finds cat that moos, a dog that meows, a cow that quacks and a duck that barks. The animals, transport, colours, lyrics, etc., create a world full of fun and humour. A show without words to think about identity, about whom and how we are, looking at ourselves and others; and enjoying the magic of the unexpected.
