DURING WINTER

Tips to save money not only in Winter, but all year round

Keep the oven door closed to retain heat; open it after cooking to warm the room. Every time you open it, you lose a quarter of the heat.

Cook more than one meal at a time and eat it the next day or freeze it for another day.

Try reducing the flow temperature on your boiler to 60C.

Turn down radiators in less used rooms.

Use your washing machine on a 30 degree cycle instead of a higher temperature.

Thermostats should be set between 18 - 21 degrees for the most economical setting,

Turn static files into dynamic content formats.
