Flourish In All You Do
There really is no better way to start the spring term than with the mighty music event that is House Music!

This year’s House Music sold out in an afternoon and the event (which is cast over two nights) saw incredible performances from students performing huge hits such as Gold, Copacobana and S Club’s Don’t Stop Movin’.
We were delighted to welcome back Old Aylesburian Will Farmer (Hampden ‘16) to adjudicate. Combining classical training with a love of jazz, Will composes, orchestrates, and edits music for various projects alongside collaborating on albums and session recordings.

The competition was extremely close, with all Houses performing outstanding sets. However, after much deliberation, it was Phillips House who were crowned winners on the night, for the second year in a row!
Congratulations Phillips and Mr Goodchild!

A huge thank you to all involved, specifically the Finance team, School Office, the Premises Team, Catering Team and the IT Department for ensuring the event ran smoothly.
This is a student led production and we are immensely proud of the performers, comperes, tech crew and House Captains for bringing this incredible event to life.

Also to all the backstage helpers, dedicated Heads of House, the entire Music department and Mrs Venning - without you this fantastic event would really not be possible.
