The increasing advancement of digital technologies and methods of fabrication have significantly changed the way architecture is designed and made. The tools that architects use influence design outcomes and inevitably establish limits of the architecture we create.

It is against this background that AX:OM announces Digital Sessions FW17/18, a series of software-based intensive masterclasses taking place in Florence between November and March. The focus of the sessions evolves to explore diverse computational tools in relation to emerging architectural research topics.

Digital Sessions provide a platform for professionals and students in the design disciplines to implement their computational skills, explore new technologies and challenge their understanding of how to think about genesis of form, tectonics and space.

: Ogni sessione è aperta ad un massimo di 7 partecipanti in modo da garanite un alto livello di apprendimento.

Ogni sessione ha una durata di 14 ore distribuite nel weekend (Sabato e Domenica) dalle 10 alle 18 (inclusa pausa pranzo). È prevista una esercitazione a conclusione di ogni giornata di lavoro.

I partecipanti devono portare il proprio laptop con i software già installati. I links alle versioni di prova dei software verranno inviati ai partecipanti qualche giorno prima della sessione.
