After applying, you will be invited for a conversation with the course team and to finalise your place. T Levels - the future for vocational courses T-Levels are a brand new type of qualification designed to give young people a new two-year, full-time study vocational programme, which is equivalent to 3 A Levels. The new qualifications bring classroom learning and an extended industry placement together on a course designed with businesses and employers, helping prepare students to meet the needs of industry and work.
If you have finished your GCSEs and want the knowledge and experience to get straight into employment, an apprenticeship or higher education, T Levels could be the option for you. abingdon-witney.ac.uk/t-levels

Student support Student Support - Our Student Engagement and SEND Support teams at the College provide a range of general and specialist support. From careers guidance to developing English and maths skills, to identifying learning needs and deploying the appropriate support and equipment for our students with Education and Healthcare Plans (EHCPs) and Special Educational Needs (SEN). Our experienced staff and specialist teams of teachers and therapists include speech and language (SLT), occupational therapy (OT), physiotherapy (PT) and FEAST (Further Education Autism

We have apprentices of all ages, from all walks of life, who will all gain valuable skills and really make a difference to their organisation. Through our award-winning Apprenticeship programme, we match motivated apprentices with local employers in industries ranging from engineering to horticulture and more! Access to Learning These programmes are tailored to support an individual depending on their personal needs and to enable them to access the learning that is right for them. Students on these programmes may have missed elements at school, have specific SEND issues, or more complex needs. If you are unsure which programme applies to you, please contact us to discuss.
Gateway The Gateway Centres act as a flexible educational centre within the College in order to engage and prepare you for progression onto a suitable course, employment or training. Based at Abingdon and Witney campuses the Gateway Centres offer supportive and progressive student-led programmes for 16-18 year olds who are not currently in education, employment or training. This may be due to missing school because of illness, phobias, caring responsibilities, etc. or not having found your direction since leaving school. 6th form Blended offer This combination of A Levels and Level 3 vocational qualifications allows you to study a course you may not have been able to before, with vocational qualifications providing the equivalent in UCAS points to A levels.

Fast Forward Students entering the Fast Forward programme can sample different vocational and skills-based units each term, rather than committing to one course straight away, helping to develop new skills for employment. Supported by a team of work coaches, mentor and support staff who will help
Pathways Abingdon or Witney Programmes specifically for those young adults with a range of SEND needs. Pathways courses help students gain life and work skills to live more independently, provide freedom for them to make their own choices, and help them decide what they would like to do when they leave college.
Pathways - Abingdon This is a specialist programme designed for students with SEND needs who wish to develop their skills and independence for adult and working life.
Life Skills – Witney This course is for young adults who have a range of SEND needs. It is designed as a transition towards independence and life beyond College
students find the next progression route that is right for them, whether they want to progress into work, a higher level course, an apprenticeship or traineeship. Fast Forward is a flexible and supportive route to get there.

Pathway 1 - Witney This course is for young adults who have an EHCP and have profound and complex learning difficulties and is designed to meet their individual academic, therapeutic, personal and social needs.
Pathway 2 - Witney This course is for young adults who have severe learning difficulties. It is designed to enable students to make independent choices and to communicate effectively.
Pathway 3 - Witney This course is designed to allow students with complex SEND needs to develop independence skills in both College and in the community..
Pathway 4 - Witney This is a specialist programme designed for students with SEND needs who wish to develop their skills and independence for adult and working life.
Pathway 5 - Witney
Supported Internship (16-18) This course is designed for identified learners with a current Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) who wish to access full time work but may need support into the world of work..

Futures programme When students join our college on a full time course, they are enrolling to a study programme which offers students a lot more than just a qualification. We prepare you for your future and focus on your own personal development.
