THE STORY

"On my 45th birthday, my lifelong friend Angie gave me the most incredible gift—to run the Philadelphia Marathon in my honor to raise awareness for MS.

Inspired by her question, 'What do you think?' I asked her why she wanted to do this. Her reply: 'Because I can. '

Our story is not just about running; it’s about courage, camaraderie, and commitment. It’s about trusting each other and ourselves.

Diagnosed with MS in 2020, my journey of resilience is about more than fighting an invisible enemy. It’s about showing others that despite challenges, progress is always possible."

THE CAST

While MS is the cause of focus in this film, it’s about ‘the human cause ’ that serves as the thread stitching all our causes together. Despite a shared disability, there’s more that binds us. As we inform and inspire with this film framed in running, we’ll walk and talk with others who have the same disability but a different story to tell.

In addition to the story of Allié who has MS and Angie who does not, we’ll walk and talk with an international artist (Demit Omphroy) in Paris, an inspirational actress & model (Nicole Pedra) in LA, and an intentional advocate & author (Fox Rigney) in Michigan who all have the same diagnosis but very different paths that did not converge until now. A raw and real conversation with Dr. Robert Pace (Allié’s neurologist) will provide depth to the dialogue that unfolds about this complex diagnosis.
