This year's theme, "With Perseverance, We All Will Soar," is not just a line from our school song – it is the fuel that propelled all of you to incredible heights.
Let us all be honest – The year has not always been smooth-sailing.. as you navigate your limitations and challenges to achieve your aspirations. There were unexpected twists, and maybe even a few moments where you felt like gravity was trying to hold you down. But here is the thing: you persevered. You tackled challenges head-on, surprised yourselves with your resourcefulness, and adapted to whatever curveballs life threw your way.
This magazine is a testament to that spirit. Look through these pages –they are bursting with creativity, innovation, and the sheer awesomeness that defines our school community. From the various academic and non-academic aspects, you have pushed boundaries and soared beyond expectations.
Remember, perseverance is not just about gritting your teeth and powering through. It is about embracing the journey, about learning from every bump and detour. It is about thinking outside the box, about finding new ways to solve problems and expressing yourselves. Be the person who when faced with obstacles would not give up - they stay resilient and find a way to overcome all obstacles!
So, as you flip through these pages, take a moment to celebrate yourselves and your fellow Admirals. Let the memories make you laugh and inspire you. Always remember that with perseverance, anything is possible and you will reach greater heights!
Be the Guiding Light that Shines!

Dearest Lyra 2,
I hope you leave ADSS with wonderful memories! As you embark on a new journey of learning, may you remember the important life lessons you have learnt here. Keep in mind, whatever others do shows their character and whatever you do shows your character. Continue to be a guiding light to everyone around you! Hey Lyra 2!
Thank you for letting me be your form teacher this year – you guys have been awesome! It may have been a short ride, but it was full of laughs, good vibes, and some unforgettable moments (yes, even the chaotic ones).
As you step into your next chapter, know that life postgraduation is an exciting adventure. Crush those tertiary studies, but don’t forget the essentials: be kind, patient, and compassionate – not just to others, but also to yourself. Do good, think good, and keep spreading those positive vibes everywhere you go!
Much love and all the best, Ms. Sharifah
Dear Lyra 3,
It has been very heartwarming to see all of you grow from Sec 3 till now. From the initial hostility some of you had towards one another to the kindness and camaraderie you now show, some of you have grown sooo much!
May all of you continue to face life with such positivity. Continue to persevere in all you do and remember to not leave room for regrets, so try your best in everything you do!
All the best to all of you!
Ms Ong
Dear Lyra 3,
As you embark on your next adventure, strive to make a positive impact in whatever path you choose, always remembering that success is not just measured by your accomplishments but by the lives you touch along the way.
It is not a goodbye. It is a celebration of beginnings, of the endless possibilities that awaits you. Congratulations, Lyra 3! Let your journey begin.
All the best!
Ms Irda
Dear Lyra 4,
In this short 1 year of being FT for the class, I am grateful for the memories we have created. Graduating from Sec 4 marks the end of one chapter and the thrilling beginning of another. The journey you've been on—filled with challenges, growth, and achievements—has prepared you for whatever comes next.
As you step forward into the world, remember that your unique talents and perspectives are your greatest strengths. There will be new challenges ahead, but trust in the skills you’ve honed and the resilience you’ve built. Success isn’t just about what you achieve; it’s about the difference you make and the impact you leave on others.
Mrs Tan wishes all of you the best and keep believing in yourselves!
Dearest Lyra 4,
It has been a real privilege to build this strong precious rapport with you and witness your tremendous growth these 2 years! I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know each of your quirks and unique personalities. I’m also feeling very excited for you as the world holds endless possibilities for you. What kind of life will you lead? Which pathway will you choose?
No matter where you go, know that I’m only a text away! Stay curious, kind and empathetic! Always believe in yourselves. Take good care of yourselves.
Go forth and live your best life!
With lots of love, Ms Wendy Chen
Hey Fam!
All of you are real sigma for coming this far and taking on life’s challenges with a never-give-up attitude! I am truly proud of each and everyone one of you! These two years have been valuable for me as I saw you grow to be kind and sensible individuals with your own unique quirk. I will miss the random outbursts of laughter, the jokes we made, the singing at the back of the class and most importantly, the chasing for HBL check-in, no cap. Having seen some of you since Secondary 1 - it seems like four years flew past rather quickly - I gleam with happiness and excitement for who you have become and for what the future holds for you! Glow up frfr.
Dear L5,
I'm very fortunate to have all of you as my last batch of form class babies because all of you are so uniquely lovable in your own ways. I'm sorry that I couldn't journey through the second half of your Sec 4 year with you but all of you are always on my mind. I'm just a text away~
All the best for your N-levels and I hope that all of you will attain what you set out to achieve!
Love, Your school mommy Ms Tiong
Life gets crazy, but I am certain that you will outdo life’s craziness with your own. Never back down in the face of a challenge and never ever let anyone tell you how you should live your life.
Be true to yourself & be kind to others. Always be the best version of yourself!
Skibiddi Rizz, The GOAT
Dear Lyra 6,
As you step into the next phase of your journey, I want to express how immensely proud I am of each and every one of you. You have all shown incredible potential and resilience throughout my time with you.
Life is like a series circuit—sometimes you encounter resistance, but that's what builds your potential! When faced with challenges, just remember Newton's first law: stay in motion and keep pushing forward. Don't let inertia hold you back; instead, harness it to propel yourself towards your goals.
It is not goodbye but see you on the wavelength of success!
With love,
Miss Janice Lim
Dear Lyra 6,
As you stand on the threshold of a new chapter, remember that your journey so far is just the beginning. Each challenge you’ve overcome has shaped you into the remarkable individuals you are today. As you graduate from ADSS and prepare for the new challenges up ahead, remember to always strive for your best. Now, as you branch out into new environments, don’t forget your roots . Keep learning , keep questioning and never stop growing.

Dear Lyra 9,
Dear Lyra 9,
Time truly flies! Congratulations to each of you on your graduation.
Over the past 2 years, I’ve watched you grow into confident individuals who are unafraid to chase your dreams. You may not know this but I always share with others how proud I am of you, for being role models who demonstrate creative thinking, team spirit, and a great deal of ownership for the things we do in school.
Life will continue to send many challenges your way. But remember, success is not final, and failure is not fatal. Have the courage to face your difficulties, keep calm and carry on!
I wish you all the best in your endeavours and I have full confidence that you’ll become amazing individuals (you already are).
Love, Ms Ng
It's been an incredible year with you all. I've enjoyed every moment getting to know each one of you. Your unique strengths and personal qualities have inspired me daily. As you step into the future, carry with you the confidence that you are capable of achieving great things. Believe in yourselves, continue to strive for excellence, and never stop chasing your dreams. I am proud of each of you and have no doubt that you will become remarkable individuals.
Good luck and best wishes for your future!
Warm regards,
Mdm Vanitha
Dear Lyra 10, Happy Graduation! Congratulations to all of you!
As we come to the end of our journey together, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible year we have shared. Although it has been a short time, it has been filled with laughter, learning, and growth. From celebrating school events that brought us closer as a class to the wonderful picnic at Sembawang Park, we created memories that will last forever. I will always cherish our Barbie theme for the class decoration; we had so much fun bringing it to life together! Our rich discussions and meaningful sharing during our LIGHTS lessons have helped you grow in resilience, foster empathy, and become a better Admiral.
I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Be a guiding Light that shines and continue to support one another as you pursue your passions.
