Oh YES they did ... my display was a buzz with fans and people loving my designs with so many offers for collabs, fashion shows, interviews sales .. they pulled my items on the spot for a fashion show after seeing me set up. They were there to support throughout as I emerged as a NYC designer from LI NY. So here I went with my best designs boxed, displays in hand, biz cards, bios and all the things one would need for a big show like this in the unber trendy Tribeca district in NYC. Justina Mutale, African Woman of the Year 2012 and Founder/CEO of POSITIVE RUNWAY: Global Catwalk to Stop the Spread is scheduled to be a judge for the World Finals of the Exquisite Face of the Universe International Model Search.
Mutale, originally from Zambia and currently living in London, England, will be travelling in early December to participate in the annual World Finals. In addition to founding many pageants around the world, she is a global multi-award winner and owner of a worldwide organization that spans six continents across the globe, Positive Runway Global Catwalk. She speaks on many topics and is well-travelled, having been honored many times in the United States for her international work on behalf of women. Mutale has shared her experiences, ideas, views and tips on “Networking and Leadership in the Global Community” to inspire and motivate delegates to position their brands for global visibility. An international speaker with speaking engagements spanning the globe, Mutale will join other world-class judges for the Exquisite Face of the Universe International Model Search. Ellie Nikole Succar, Miss USA Selected as Miss USA, Ellie Nikole Succar will be traveling to Lagos, Nigeria to represent the United States in the most Exquisite Face of the Universe. Succar is 18 years old and currently a full-time model based out of Los Angeles. She is also in the process of starting her own company under the name of Ellie Nikole. With big dreams, she has put forth much energy and determination towards her goals. Achieving this pinnacle in her modeling career has not come without dedication, drive and determination to overcome any obstacles. “This has been such a blessing and I am ready to start my journey this December with a positive attitude. I cannot thank my friends and family enough for the constant support. So we thought, “why not show people that you don’t have to wear something brand new to look great?!” Eco-friendly fashion and sustainability is currently a hot topic of debate in the fashion industry and ModTex has been in the recycle textile, eco-friendly business for 20 years. Dynamite Editorials is an educational production company specializing in editorial photography founded by Fashion Stylist, Blogger, and Production Director, TNT Tauna. Tauna began her career in the fashion industry as a model finding her niche in the Rockabilly/Pinup scene. She eventually expanded her portfolio to cover many genres and while doing so discovered her natural talent for styling when she was asked to style her own photo shoots. Tauna decided to switch her focus from modeling to styling and began attending Orange Coast College for their Fashion Merchandising program. Then she founded Dynamite Editorials to help give other artists a chance to create cohesively styled editorials for portfolio use, promotion, and publication. Tauna works diligently behind the scenes to organize content creating events, invite influential fashion bloggers to join the fun, and find magazines interested in publishing the content. Artists have a chance to win her Photo of the Day Contest held after each photo shoot and featured on her blog. Tauna is also working with emerging designers and select boutiques to get them the publicity they need to take their businesses to the next level.
