District 1A DG Brenda Stevens:
Building Membership Two Years in a Row! Lions & Leos of District 1A: I am so proud to say that District 1A is playing a role in increasing World Lions Membership to make Mission Possible and reach its goal – 1.5 million members by 2027. During the recently held MD1 State Convention, our district received club growth awards for the years 2023-24 and 2024-25 in State of District 1A Governor’s Newsletter
Illinois, as lions we call MD1. Also, we received membership growth awards for the last lionistic year and current year. We really made it with winning colors! So far this year, we have 2 new clubs, and our total membership is plus 60, i.e., 7.23% growth.
