AUJS HIGHLIGHTS

2020/21 have been challenging years.
By 2022, things had returned to normal. We returned to university, socialised in person, planned activities, and fought antisemitism.
We forged new relationships, interacted with the Jewish community, and revived leadership initiatives.

The AUJS Pod (TAP), features different speakers who specialise in different areas of the Jewish world, from Zionism, to leadership, to the diaspora, and more!
By giving speakers a diverse selection of topics and perspectives, students are armed with the knowledge to create their own informed opinions.
You can subscribe on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music and more!
It is essential to teach all students how to spot antisemitism when it occurs, report it, and put a stop to it.
One of the best tools we have in combating antisemitism is the IHRA Definition, as it provides a framework through which antisemitism can be identified.
The goal of Accelerate is to explore and identify participants’ ties to Israel and Judaism.
During the three-day Accelerate conference, students had the opportunity to hear from notable speakers and consider what it means to be a Jewish student activist on campus.
We represented Australia and New Zealand at the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS) in Israel.
It was an honour to win the prestigious Union of the Year award.
AUJS was recognised for its commitment, passion and dedication to Jewish life on campus.
We also saw the return of the Victorian Political Training Seminar (VPTS),
and the return of the NSW Political Conference for the first time since 2018.
