American (16-7, 9-3) used a second half rally to pick up its third straight win, 75-57, at Colgate on Saturday. Arron Zimmerman led the Eagles with 19 points and Jen Dumiak reached double-figures for the sixth straight game, scoring 16 points. Sarah Kiely pulled down a team-high six rebounds. The Eagles shot 50.0 percent from the field and went a perfect 20-for-20 from the foul line, marking the second time W, 77-40 this season American hasn’t missed a free throw in a game. L, 63-60 W, 52-34 Three players are averaging double-figures led by Alexis W, 72-55 Dobbs with 12.5 points per game, Dumiak with 10.6 ppg W, 70-61 and Zimmerman with 10.2 ppg. Kiely leads the Eagles with W, 72-57 5.9 rebounds per game this season. Dobbs ranks third in W, 63-56 the conference with 4.7 assists per game and 1.5 steals per L, 64-63 game. As a team, American is ranked sixth in the country in L, 48-44 scoring defense (54.4).

A 3-pointer from Elizabeth Jordan with 5.4 seconds remaining lifted Lehigh (11-11, 4-7) to its second straight win, 50-47, at Loyola (Md.). Elizabeth Sharlow was the lone player to reach double-figures in the game, scoring 11 points. Kerry Kinek posted 14 boards as the Mountain Hawks held a 5232 advantage in rebounds for the game. Lehigh shot 27.4 percent from the floor and went 3-of-16 from beyond the arc. Five players reached double-figures to lead the Eagles to a 70-61 win over Lehigh in the teams’ first meeting in Bender Arena earlier this season. Geleisa George led American with 15 points and Kiely registered her first double-double of the season in the win with 11 rebounds and 10 points. 2013-14 AU Women’s Basketball - Been perfect from the line twice this season against UMass, 12-for-12 (11/17), and Colgate 20-for-20 (2/8). - Five players reached double-figures in the win over Lehigh (1/15). The last time American had that balanced of a scoring attack was on Feb. 23, 2008. - Shot 56.3 percent from 3-point range vs. Colgate (1/11), marking the first time an Eagles’ team has shot 50 percent from beyond the arc since Dec. 21, 2011. - Held Loyola (Md.) to 34 points (1/8), the first time an American squad has held an opponent to under 35 points since Dec. 30, 2010 vs. Binghamton. The 34 points were also the third fewest allowed by an American team in program history. - Opened the conference season with its first 30 point victory since Feb. 26, 2011, defeating Bucknell, 77-40 (1/2). Tiffany Coll joins the Eagles’ coaching staff after spending the last year as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Towson, aiding in the development of two All-

Coll previously served as an assistant coach at Lehigh, helping guide the Mountain Hawks to three 20-win seasons, three Patriot League regular season titles and two NCAA Tournament

Before joining Lehigh, she was an assistant coach at Navy for the 2007-08 season and was a graduate assistant coach at St. John’s for two seasons, helping the Red Storm to a top 25 ranking and 22-8 overall record in 2005-06. Coll played basketball abroad in Portugal, Germany, Holland and Wales after playing at the collegiate level for UMBC. She was a four-year member of the Retrievers’ squad and served on the NCAA StudentAthlete Advisory Committee for two seasons. Coll graduated from UMBC in 2003 with a degree in issues and athletic administration and received her Master’s in sociology from St. John’s in 2007.

FLORES

Assistant Coach • 1st Season • Marist ‘08 Nikki Flores begins her first season on Coach Gebbia’s coaching staff after spending the previous season at Colgate. Flores focused on recruiting and also assisted in preseason and individual workouts and breaking down game film. She helped lead the Raiders to one of its biggest RPI wins in program history and two wins over the top seed in the 2013 Patriot League tournament to advance to the semifinals for the first time since 2007. Flores also served as the first assistant and recruiting coordinator at Division II Holy Family University from 2009 to 2012, helping the team to three CACC Regular

Season Championships from 2010 to 2012 and three berths to the NCAA Tournament. Flores was a four-year member of the women’s basketball team at Marist, earning All-MAAC Second Team honors in her senior season and being honored on the MAAC All-Rookie Team in 2005. She helped lead the Foxes to four MAAC Regular Season titles, three MAAC Tournament Championships and three NCAA Tournament appearances, including a Sweet 16 appearance during her junior year. Flores graduated in 2008 with a degree in history and adolescent education.

STALLINGS

Assistant Coach • 1st Season • Marist ‘12 A former Marist College standout, Emily Stallings most recently served as a graduate assistant at East Stroudsburg. Stallings aided in the development of the post players, in addition to helping with practice planning and recruiting. She also served as a head and assistant coach of the Newburgh Liberty AAU team.

BASSETTI

Graduate Assistant • 1st Season • Rowan ‘13 Allie Bassetti begins her first season as a graduate assistant coach at American University. Bassetti most recently served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J. where she worked on practice planning, breaking down game film and scouting reports. She was the head coach of the Philadelphia Belles Nike Travel Team from 2008 to 2012 and practice coordinator for the Philadelphia Belles AAU team from 2008-2011. During that time, Bassetti also acted as an assistant coach at Ss. John Neumann and Maria Goretti High School, leading the team to a record of 13-11 in

2010-11 and 20-9 in her final season. She has been a clinician and counselor for Blue Star Basketball since 2008, conducting skill sessions and player evaluations for seventh to ninth grade students. Bassetti has also worked with U.S. Junior National Team Tournaments as an assistant events coordinator and site director from 2008 to 2013. A native of Turnersville, N.J., Bassetti played point guard at Rowan from 2008-2010, leading the team to consecutive NJAC Semifinal playoff appearances in 2009 and 2010. She graduated from Rowan with a degree in psychology in 2013.
