W, 82-59 W, 60-39 Web: Patriot League Network L, 68-66 L, 66-62 The third-seeded American University women’s basketball team will open play in the 2014 Patriot League Tournament when it hosts No. 6 Lafayette on Thursday, Mar. 6 at 7 p.m. in W, 77-54 the Quarterfinals. W, 58-46 W, 47-41 American (21-8) completed Patriot League play with the fourth L, 64-61 best conference record in program history, posting a mark of W, 64-42 14-4 to finish tied for second in the league. The Eagles closed L, 77-64 out the regular season with back-to-back 10+-point victories, ending conference play with a 67-53 win at Bucknell on Saturday. Sarah Kiely scored a career-high 18 points to lead W, 77-40 four double-digit scorers in the win, going a career-best 4-ofL, 63-60 7 from beyond the arc. Alexis Dobbs added 17 points with a W, 52-34 team-high seven rebounds and Jen Dumiak finished with 13 W, 72-55 points and led American with nine assists. W, 70-61 W, 72-57 Dobbs, Dumiak and Arron Zimmerman were recognized on the W, 63-56 All-Patriot League Teams on Tuesday. Dobbs was named to L, 64-63 the conference’s First Team after leading the Eagles with 13.1 L, 48-44 points per game, 4.9 rebounds per game, 4.5 assists per game and 1.5 steals per game this season. Dumiak has tallied 10.1 ppg, 4.3 rpg and 4.3 apg this season for American. Zimmerman W, 58-53 has had a breakout season for the Eagles and has posted a W, 63-38 career-best 10.7 ppg and 4.6 rpg, leading American with 12.5 W, 75-57 ppg in conference play. W, 69-56 W, 72-61 Lafayette (14-15) dropped its final game of the regular season, W, 69-44 64-53, to Army. Danielle Fiacco surpassed 1,000 career points L, 64-60 in the loss and Jamie O’Hare finished with a team-best 16 W, 63-50 points, hitting four 3-pointers. Fiacco posted 12 points and a team-best seven rebounds.

Coll played basketball abroad in Portugal, Germany, Holland and Wales after playing at the collegiate level for UMBC. She was a four-year member of the Retrievers’ squad and served on the NCAA StudentAthlete Advisory Committee for two seasons. Coll graduated from UMBC in 2003 with a degree in issues and athletic administration and received her Master’s in sociology from St. John’s in 2007.

Assistant Coach • 1st Season • Marist ‘08 Nikki Flores begins her first season on Coach Gebbia’s coaching staff after spending the previous season at Colgate. Flores focused on recruiting and also assisted in preseason and individual workouts and breaking down game film. She helped lead the Raiders to one of its biggest RPI wins in program history and two wins over the top seed in the 2013 Patriot League tournament to advance to the semifinals for the first time since 2007. Flores also served as the first assistant and recruiting coordinator at Division II Holy Family University from 2009 to 2012, helping the team to three CACC Regular

Season Championships from 2010 to 2012 and three berths to the NCAA Tournament. Flores was a four-year member of the women’s basketball team at Marist, earning All-MAAC Second Team honors in her senior season and being honored on the MAAC All-Rookie Team in 2005. She helped lead the Foxes to four MAAC Regular Season titles, three MAAC Tournament Championships and three NCAA Tournament appearances, including a Sweet 16 appearance during her junior year. Flores graduated in 2008 with a degree in history and adolescent education.

Assistant Coach • 1st Season • Marist ‘12 A former Marist College standout, Emily Stallings most recently served as a graduate assistant at East Stroudsburg. Stallings aided in the development of the post players, in addition to helping with practice planning and recruiting. She also served as a head and assistant coach of the Newburgh Liberty AAU team.

Graduate Assistant • 1st Season • Rowan ‘13 Allie Bassetti begins her first season as a graduate assistant coach at American University. Bassetti most recently served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J. where she worked on practice planning, breaking down game film and scouting reports. She was the head coach of the Philadelphia Belles Nike Travel Team from 2008 to 2012 and practice coordinator for the Philadelphia Belles AAU team from 2008-2011. During that time, Bassetti also acted as an assistant coach at Ss. John Neumann and Maria Goretti High School, leading the team to a record of 13-11 in

2010-11 and 20-9 in her final season. She has been a clinician and counselor for Blue Star Basketball since 2008, conducting skill sessions and player evaluations for seventh to ninth grade students. Bassetti has also worked with U.S. Junior National Team Tournaments as an assistant events coordinator and site director from 2008 to 2013. A native of Turnersville, N.J., Bassetti played point guard at Rowan from 2008-2010, leading the team to consecutive NJAC Semifinal playoff appearances in 2009 and 2010. She graduated from Rowan with a degree in psychology in 2013.
