AUDUBON PARK JOURNALISM CLUB 2011
Our Audubon Park Elementary Journalism Club is in the spirit of giving! Students decorated a bear for our “Beary Merry Adoption Agency” in the front lobby. Here’s how it works: 1.Visit the Adoption Agency in the front lobby. Find a bear you would like to adopt(win). 2.Enter to win by writing about the bear. You can write a Narrative story with the bear as a character, an Expository paper explaining why you’d like to adopt the bear, or a poem/song/ rap about the bear. Get creative! 3. Turn your writing in to the correct folder in the front lobby by Thursday, 12/15 @ 3:10 p.m. 4. Winners announced on Jungle News Friday, 12/16. Bears will be delivered to the winners in their classrooms by the Journalism students. Winners will also receive an Adoption Certificate.
