!Audacious is renowned for it’s electric atmosphere, welcome, the dynamic men’s ministry Brotherhood, and the powerful women’s ministry Bling. !Audacious is also home to a thriving kids and youth ministries with three campuses, and has a huge impact amongst the homeless and working girls of the city, as well as partnership with MacMillan, through the community action teams (A Teams).

lecturers & Speakers GLYN BARRETT Glyn is the Senior Leader of !Audacious Church & Director of !Audacious. He is an incredible visionary who loves to connect with people, drink coffee and is enthusiastic about everything in his world including his wife Sophia, kids Georgia and Jaedon and of course Manchester City FC! On the !Audacious Academy Glyn lectures on Church History, and !Audacious Leadership. PAUL REID Paul is the Dean of the !Audacious Academy. He has been involved in youth ministry and church leadership for over 15 years and is determined to introduce young people and adults alike to the power of God’s word and a life sold out to Jesus. Three dimensional teaching and practical preaching are signatures of his contemporary ministry.
SOPHIA BARRETT Sophia is the Senior Leader of !Audacious Church. Her intimacy with God and biblical insight will enthuse you with passion for knowing more about Jesus. You get to spend time with Sophia as she lectures: How to Read the Bible For All it’s Worth. russell evans As one of the world’s leading international communicators, Russell’s hunger to live by the Spirit will challenge you to LIVE BY a level of faith you never thought possible. He is the Founder, Director, and visionary of Planetshakers and the senior pastor of Planetshakers City Church. REGGIE DABBS Reggie is the number one motivational speaker for highschools in America and speaks to over 1.5 million young people face-to-face every year all around the world. It’s our privilege to see him demonstrate his ability to share his story in a powerful way and learn from a master communicator who is a voice of hope to this generation.
Rich Wilkerson JNR Rich Wilkerson Jr. is a dynamic communicator with a passion to encourage and inspire this generation to live for Christ. His honest and upfront approach brings a fresh viewpoint and clarity to life’s issues. Rich currently serves as an associate pastor at Trinity Church in Miami, Florida. NEIL SMITH Neil is the Executive Pastor of Planetshakers with churches in Melbourne, Geelong and Cape Town. He is a leading, strategic thinker who brings insight, wisdom and creativity to build the Church. Neil is married to Leoni and has two children and a passion for Chelsea football club.
MARK RITCHIE Mark is the Director of the 73rd Trust and a renowned Evangelist known for his humour and passionate preaching. He currently tours the UK full time as he communicates the gospel in new ways, but consistently in a way that grips and inspires you to be all you can. On the Academy Mark lectures on Evangelism. Other lecturers include: John Cameron Senior Leader of the 3000 strong, Arise Church, Weillington, New Zealand. JASON GOWLAND Jason with his wife Kim are the Senior leaders of Edge Church in Bristol. Previously in Adelaide, Australia with Pastor Danny Gugliemucci, they have massive hearts to see a change in the South West. Jason will be lecturing on Faith on the !Audacious Academy.

Throughout the course of the year, as an !Audacious Academy student you can expect to be trained in a wide variety of subjects through a mixture of coaching, lectures, one-on-one discipleship and practical application of your chosen ministry stream in either your home church or the host church. Monday to Wednesday you will travel to !Audacious Church, Manchester for lectures and coaching. On Thursday to Sunday you will outwork that which you have learnt in a practical setting.

NATIONAL ACCREDITATION
The world needs audacious leaders in every area of society and we want students to see the !Audacious Academy as a foundational 1st step on the journey in to the influence that comes with pursuing the call of God for your life. This takes discipline and devotion, to help develop these key ingredients over the year, each student will complete 4 assignments:
Academy PLUS+: We know that many students are already dreaming about a dynamic, creative and significant future and so would be looking for a nationally recognized qualification to add momentum to their life and leadership. Why don’t you choose to go PLUS+ and do our specialist youth work programme? This involves working towards a Level 3 qualification in Youth Work Practice accredited by Open Awards and is recognized as part of the National Qualification Framework, used by employers and higher education institutions in the UK. Students taking Academy PLUS+ will have lectures from specialists in youth work and will be uniquely assessed, both internally and externally, through a varied range of methods. This will include case studies, practical demonstrations, projects and a detailed reflective log/journal (kept throughout the year).

mission The !Audacious Academy believes that everyone should experience mission at least once in their lifetime. Mission takes you out of your comfort zone and leaves you inspired and motivated to win your generation. During the year, students will be involved in a strategic mission experience. Previously this has incorporated taking lessons in Primary and Secondary schools, afternoon community activities, running evening youth and church events, all with the aim of connecting people to local churches and introducing them to Jesus. In addition to that, !Audacious Academy students then bring their culture to our partnering organizations and churches. After all the serving, there is still time to broaden horizons and enjoy the sights and more. This whole experience is unforgettable and noted as a great highlight in the Academy year!
!AUDACIOUS ACADEMY YEAR 2 While the first year of the !Audacious Academy provides a fantastic foundation for life, a second year at the !Audacious Academy will sharpen you and develop your skills in a more specialised area of ministry. You will not only have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced practitioner but also, to develop your skills, you will be given responsibility for key projects within your ministry area. As well as your 2 days practical experience you will also have 1 coaching day each week consisting of :DOWNLOAD An hour session from a senior leader, challenging your thinking and lifestyle. Leadership coaching sessions Key small group sessions from !Audacious approved leaders. These sessions are designed to be interactive rather than lecture style so that you can ask the burning questions and really get into the life of the coach.
Project Following your coaching sessions, you and the rest of your coaching group will devise projects to outwork in the base locality. This will give you a heart for your community, develop your creativity and team skills and envision you with ideas for your locality. Practical ministry Additional to your practical placement and the coaching day, you will have the opportunity to serve in key national conferences and host church events. You will also be mission leaders on the international mission, taking responsibility for areas of the programme and in leading Year 1 students

This includes residential training, Academy mission and !Audacious Conference. This can be paid as one lump sum at the start of the course or by £500 at orientation week followed by £150 per month for 10 months. ACADEMY PLUS+ FEES

Should you choose to do the nationally recognised qualification in Youth Work Practice (level 3), these fees will be payable as a lump sum at the start of the course.

Accommodation Should you require full or part time accommodation whilst in Manchester, we are available to help make the necessary arrangements, including identifying host homes from within !Audacious Church.
WHAT TO DO NEXT?
!Audacious Academy welcomes applications from students across the United Kingdom and international students, provided they have the support of their local church. Typically applicants are 18 to 30 years old but there is no set upper limit. If an applicant below 18 is considering the !Audacious Academy they should have the backing of parents and church before sending off an application form, telephone the !Audacious Academy for advice.
