We are so pleased to welcome you to our 2024 Virtual Career Fair. To our returning participants, we are grateful for your partnership and involvement in the professional development of our students and to our first-time participants, we hope this event will be the start of a growing collaboration.

EMPLOYER WELCOME AND INSTRUCTIONS
We are so excited to welcome you to campus for our 2024 School of Architecture and Interior Design’s Virtual Career Fair on Thursday, February 29 from 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm via Zoom.
Please take note of the following information to help you successfully navigate the virtual experience:

Schedule and Format
The career fair will operate in two main parts as outlined below:
Part I: Whole Group Session – 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm
All employers and all students will meet in the whole group session. Each employer will be allotted five (5) minutes to provide an introduction of the representatives attending as well as an overview of their company. Please see the order of presentations below. All employers are requested to log in at 12:30 pm for a technical check. Employers are invited to sit in on the entire session or may step away until the next session after making their presentation.

Part II: Small group sessions 2:40 pm – 4:15 pm
In part II, students will meet with employers in small groups of three firms in breakout rooms. Employers will be moved by moderators from the main room to their assigned breakout room and two moderators will be available throughout each session to assist with flow and to provide technical assistance. The rotation will flow as follows:
• Session 1: 2:40 pm – 3:05 pm
• Session 2: 3:10 pm – 3:40 pm
• Session 3: 3:45 pm – 4:15 pm

Part III: One-on-one meetings: 4:30 – 5:30 pm
Employers may interact with students one-on-one in separate breakout rooms for each employer. A moderator will move employers to their individual breakout room and will assist in managing the queue of students for each employer breakout room.
Resume and Portfolios
Employers will have access to students’ resumes and portfolios this Google Drive. Students are actively uploading their portfolios and resumes to the drive.
Interviews
Upon review of documents and interaction with students, employers are welcome to schedule interviews with students. Employers will be responsible for organizing interviews with students.

Architecture and Interior Design students,
We are pleased that you will be joining us for the 2024 School of Architecture and Interior Design Virtual Career Fair. This year we will host 8 firms with of them several actively recruiting for full-time and part-time positions as well as internships.
Preparing for the career fair
This career fair is being managed on Handshake, the number 1 job searching tool for college students! To provide you with the best experience at the event, we strongly encourage the following ahead of the fair:
1. Claim your Handshake account by simply logging in HERE with your Andrews email and password. All employers have registered for the fair on Handshake. Claiming your account will allow you to see the employers and for employers to see you, your resume, and your portfolio. Follow the instructions in this short video for additional help!
2. Complete your profile and upload your resume and portfolio. Employers who are hiring want to see these documents. Follow the instructions in this short video!
3. Check out the full list of attending employers HERE! Click on the tab, “all employers.” You may then click on each employer to get full company details.
Upload your resume and portfolio to the Career Fair Google Drive
If you have not already done so, upload your resume and portfolio to this Google Drive, so that employers will have access to it on the day of the Career Fair. Employers will be conducting same day interviews. Having access to your resume and portfolio will help in the selection process.
