Dear Health Care Professional,

Each year we look forward to your participation in the Andrews University Health Careers Fair. For those of you who are new-comers, we are delighted that you have chosen to join us this year and we invite you to become a regular participant.

Because of the cooperative efforts between health care organizations in our community along with the Placement Services here at Andrews, this annual venture has grown over the past several years and has become an important feature on campus.

Andrews University recognizes how important it is to partner with you in the preparation of the best health care professionals in order to meet the needs of the communities we serve. We appreciate the relationships we have already established and look forward to building even better connections as we continue to work together.

We would greatly appreciate your feedback on the health career fair and how we could do things better or differently in the future.

Best regards,

Dear Employer,

The College of Health & Human Services welcomes you to our 2025 Health Career Job Fair! Andrews University recognizes how important it is to partner with you in the preparation of the best professionals in order to meet the needs of the communities we serve. We appreciate the relationships we have already established and look forward to building new and better connections as we continue to work together. Please take note of the following information to make your time on campus efficient and productive.

Wi-Fi

To access the Wi-Fi, employers may connect to AU-Guest, which is an open network intended for use by Andrews University guests and visitors only who do not have University usernames. Once connected, Wi-Fi will work on campus throughout your visit.

Lunch

A gift certificate for a full-size sandwich, chips, and a fountain drink to Baguette de France will be provided for two representatives from each company that has paid in full (3 certificates will be available for employers who have paid the 3rd representative fee). You may call ahead your order 24 hours before the fair for pick up. This is recommended as this is a popular eatery in town and it gets quite busy.

Sincerely,

Career Fair Team

Dear Student,

We are pleased that you will be joining us for the 2025 Health Professions Job Fair. This year we will host 51 employers with several actively recruiting for full-time positions and internships.

Please check out the tips below to help you make the most of your time at the career fair.

DURING THE FAIR

• Follow your schedule: Ensure that you visit the companies of interest from your prior research first but also make time to visit as many booths as possible. You never know who you’ll meet or what information you will learn.

• Ask Questions: Prepare a short list of questions about the company’s values, culture, and programs and initiatives for students and recent graduates. Be sure to also jot down important information to help you remember who you spoke with – bring a notepad.

• Share: Share your resume and contact information with recruiters.

• Hydrate: Talking to many people in a short period of time can be exhausting and dehydrating. Be sure to take a beverage with you or make sure you have access to a water fountain to hydrate yourself when necessary.

AFTER THE FAIR

• Connect: Take time to send a quick email to the recruiters you connected with to reintroduce yourself and establish contact. Be sure to make professional social media connections such as LinkedIn as well.

• Apply: Send in applications for any open positions you discussed with recruiters.

We hope that you will take every opportunity to connect with employers and to take steps toward your future.

Sincerely,

#1 - OrthoAlliance
