Basketball is my passion. I started to play with a baby hoop when I was 3 years old and the enthusiasm never left me.

Why America? “I’m basically looking for a structure that would allow me to continue my studies while being devoted to basketball. In France, you can stay in a “Centre de Formation” for the first 2 years of College, but without a true organization. I think an American College is the only worldwide possibility to combine a top basketball program with high-level education. ”

Interview

! !

What makes you different? Everybody is unique, but I feel I’m different because I left home very early. There was no good student-athlete program in Switzerland for basketball and the only way to pursue my goals for excellence was to move to France (I have double citizenship). I was only fourteen when I left to France (“Pôle Espoir” in Besancon). “Pôle Espoir” is a student-athlete French program recruiting every year the best 6 athletes among 4 states. It is very selective but offers a great opportunity to improve basketball skills without losing anything on the education.

! ! !

Why do you want to compete in college? It would be a great challenge and a great opportunity to discover a new culture. It would be a unique chance to share my passion for the game with girls having the same goals. It would be the perfect way to be as good as I can be.

! !

Life goals?

!

I would like to reach the highest possible level in basketball according to my abilities and skills, but more important I want to be convinced I am done everything reasonably possible to reach this goal so I would have no frustrations in the future regardless of where I end up.
