Achievements

!

This year was probably my year of the most achievements in my first serious year at a senior level, with a first in the Under 18 state 4x400, and a second in the 4x100. First in the 4x100 in under 20s at country championships for my local club. Third place in the 200m and 100m at country championships in under 20’s. Also first in the Associated Catholic College school athletes for the 200m. While in junior athletics I have received 3 personal best trophies which is probably in my opinion my great achievement.

Interview

! !

What makes you different? I would say everything about me makes me different apart from my passion for sport which so many people have in common, I would say I’m different as I have leadership skills, I have been attending my high school for only just over a year and have already taken on leadership roles, my organizational skills I think make me different to most teenage boys, my empathy and the simple fact that I’m Australia. My upbringing makes me different, the music I like, and possibly the fact that I love photography.

! !

Why do you want to compete in college? I want to compete in college as I want to further my running and college would provide me with the opportunity to do so compared to the opportunities available in Australia.

! !

College goals? My goals for college would be to be a competitive division one runner, to do a degree in something like psychology or human development is what I have in mind, but I may come across something else that interests me.

! !

Life goals?

!

My life goals are fairly simple I’m only 17 I haven’t spent much time thinking about what I want to do in life to be entirely honest, I want to travel the world, work and make a difference to the lives of others I think that’s as complex I can be at this stage.
