Application with Litoplus K55 When applying transparent mosaics, it is recommended to level the substrate with a white cementitious adhesive, type litoplus K55, to avoid colour changes. mix the adhesive with the amount of water specified on the technical sheet (32%); using the flat edge of a squeegee, apply it evenly on the substrate for a thickness of about 2 mm. When the adhesive has hardened, apply the same adhesive with the toothed edge of the squeegee (3.5 mm x 3.5 mm) on an area not larger than 9 sheets, to prevent any surface film from forming. apply the mosaic sheets making the mesh-mounted side adhere. Press on the sheet and beat the tesseras with a rubber squeegee to ensure a perfect bonding. the distance between sheets must be the same as the distance between single tesseras, so that all joints look the same. Proceed with the bonding step with the same procedure. after the application, wait at least 12 hours, so that the adhesive hardens sufficiently. if some material comes out from the joints, remove it mechanically before grouting. if the application is not to be

made on traditional cementitious substrates, use the twocomponent epoxy-polyurethane adhesive litoelastic or contact the technical service. Application with Litochrom starlike mix the 2 pre-batched components totally by drill till getting a smooth and clogless mix and apply the adhesive with the toothed edge of the squeegee (3.5 mm x 3.5 mm) on an area not larger than 9 sheets. apply the mosaic sheets making the mesh-mounted side adhere. Press on the sheet and beat the tesseras with a rubber squeegee to ensure a perfect bonding. the distance between sheets must be the same as the distance between single tesseras, so that all joints look the same. Proceed with the bonding step with the same procedure. the mix has a workability of about 45-60 minutes after mixing. grouting can follow even immediately after the application, as this product features null vertical slip. as alternative, for very large areas, wait for the adhesive to harden (12-24 hours) before grouting using the same material.

Grouting use the litochrom Starlike in the wished colour for grouting. Pour the whole content of component B (catalyst) inside the bucket containing the component a (coloured paste) and mix by drill till getting a smooth and clogless mix. If a special finish has been chosen, add the chosen additive (Spotlight, galaxy, gold, Night Vision or metal finishes) to the previously obtained mix. Special finishes are available in pre-batched buckets, to be added as third components to the 5 kg bucket of litochrom Starlike. apply the grout with a rubber squeegee crosswise upwards, covering an area not larger than 2 square meters each time. remove the excess grout crosswise with the rubber squeegee. the product has a workability of about 45-60 minutes after mixing, thus cleaning and grout finishing must be carried out when the product is still fresh and as shortly as possible.

white felt, with circular movements to remove the sealant excess from the tessera surface. then, make a second passage with a stiff sweepex sponge (art.128/g) without emptying the joints. When felts and sponges are soaked with resins and cannot be cleaned anymore they must be replaced. Frequently replace the washing water. Possible halos or residues of hardened product can be removed from the surface after about 24 hours using the special detergent litonet or litonet gel. Pour the pure product, or the product diluted max. 1:10 in water, on the surface and leave it for about 15-30 minutes. rub with a white felt to remove the halo and rinse with sponge and clean water. immediately dry with a clean cloth.

Cleaning Previously wet the grouted surface with clean water. Make a first cleaning with a squeegee with dampened
