Curriculum Vitae 2024

Curriculum Vitae 2024
My love of architecture began as a child sketching with my father, being taught to truly comprehend and understand the unique buildings and structures in and around my hometown of Poole. I began to understand the weight of the line, how to shade and study an object, and see the truth of the form I was studying. Many years on, I am a highly motivated graduate of the Welsh School of Architecture aiming for, what I hope will be, a long and rewarding career as an architect.
I have progressed from GCSE work experience to paid architectural work and then to working as a Part 1 Assistant last year. I cannot wait to take the next step as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant and to ARB accreditiation.
Designing our human environment is something I consider a vital part of improving and benefitting the lives of people, as well as being a fascinating career, with the chance to work as something of a renaissance person, studying many diverse skills and ideas with opportunities to learn and change every day.
A focus on designing to satisfy all the senses not just the eye, is also key to my philosophy of design, especially for people who are neurodivergent.
